I bought 2 of these for Christmas gifts. They are very soft. Easy to use. Brightly colored. Thick heavy blanket that can be used without the heat setting. Very durable. They have been used for a year now and they still look new and work well.

Bought this for a work exchange gift, and she loved it. It’s the perfect size, super soft, and the material feels great. I also didn’t notice any shedding. Definitely a nice gift option.

Pro: Soft blanket. Stinks coming out of the package, but let it air out a couple days and the smell goes away. I tuck it between a cotton blanket with a quilt on top and turn it up to the highest setting; it's lovely for keeping my feet warm at night. Con: On the highest setting it takes around half an hour for me to actually feel *heat* on my legs, and almost an hour for my feet to not feel cold anymore. Frustrating on cold nights.

I LOVE MY NEW PURPLE WARMING BLANKET!!! I live in the mountains of North Georgia. You know, "sunny" Georgia? But I don't have to tell the 'tuned in' crowd that with back-to-back ice and snow storms here in the Sunny South IT HAS BEEN COLD!! Temps below freezing for days on end!! So when I found my new heated throw on my doorstep when I came home from my dermatologist on this cloudy, cold, rainy day chilled to the bone, I was more than ready to curl up under it! Of course, I had to make sure I knew how it worked. No problem! Instructions were easy to follow. And they're also printed in satin and sewn onto the throw. So by the time I finished my checklist and plugged it in, it warmed in a hurry I curled up under my new soft scrumptiously warm blanket! I haven't budged since! As in the Robert Service poem, The Cremation of Sam McGee, "Since I left Plumtree down in Tennessee, it's the first time I've been warm!"

I was really hopeful given the amazing reviews, but unfortunately this blanket was a big disappointment. Thin. Wires very easily felt throughout the whole blanket. But I plugged it in and WOW! It got warm quickly! Ok, I thought, I can do this! I cut off the unsightly giant tag sewn into the colorful side of the blanket, and cuddled up for the night... I had to turn it down to only 2-3 heat because it got so warm! Next night... its on 6 heat and only half the blanket is warming at all, the other half isn't even working. So now I have to return a used blanket that I have already cut the tags off of. What a waste of time. Also, side note but very annoying: The buttons click loudly when you changed the heat and time settings. Doesn't seem like a big deal, until your partner who is a light sleeper is asleep next to you at 3am when you are trying to adjust it...
