Champion Women's Sports Bra, High-Impact, Maximum Support, Breathable, Moisture-Wicking Fabric

Within the last week I ordered 3 of the same Champion Women's Spot Comfort Full Support Sports Bra on Amazon: white/black/pink. I initially purchased the Champion Women's "Spot" Comfort Full Support Sports Bra from Kohl's within the last week (Mid-March2022) from their sale rack. I am 73 y/o. Working remotely for the last 2 yrs. due to the pandemic, I really didn't have an opportunity to wear most of my bras, other than the over-the-head and racer-back models until recently. In my younger years, my bra size was 34DD. When I recently pulled out all my bras that were not sports bras, none of them fit me. Unfortunately, when one get older one tends to lose all the fat in the upper part of each breast. The DD cup size was way too big. So, off to the bra shop I went and was sized 32C or D, depending on the bra. Personally, I think 32 is too tight for the band, so I decided to go with 34. Anyway, after the bra shop, I went to Kohl's and found the Champion bra in a 34D in gray. I looked at it and thought "This will never work", as there is no underwire or molded cup inside. I was shocked when I put the bra on, felt how comfortable it was and decided to buy it. I am very active and go to the gym daily for either cardio spin 4 times a week, weight lifting/training, and walking/sprints on the indoor track, so I sweat a lot. For me this bra is very comfortable, fits me perfectly, and I do not mind the "slight" unaboob look. At this age, comfort is more important than sexy at the gym. The white Champion bra I ordered came yesterday, and I'm wearing it today while I work and write this review. The black and pink are supposed to arrive later today. Earlier reviews years past, reported the inside seams itched/chafed the skin, but the seams in the gray bra I purchased at Kohl's and the white one I'm wearing today have the inside seams covered quite well and I've had no itching/chafing. Yesterday, I took the day off and was at the gym for several hours doing my cardio/weight lifting routines. I had no problems with the gray bra. Even though I am 120lbs/5'4", some bras are cut under the arms in a way that squeezes the skin out from under my arms/on the sides, very ugly. This bra, at least on me, does not do that. I have a smooth fit under my arms/sides/back. I'm hoping the black and pink bras fit the same way. It just seems that Champion has taken the negative reviews over the years regarding this "Spot Comfort Full Support Sports Bra" and greatly improved it. For me, it's a winner at the gym and beyond. 3/22/22 update: I received the pink and black bras after I wrote the above review. I've worn the grey bra again to the gym and the white and pink. All held up well under intense cardio, bench pressing, deadlifts and free weights. The bras seem to wick away the moisture well. All seem to wash well, but I use a lingerie bag. I do not put in the bras in the dryer. I continue to be pleased with this style and the performance. 3/1/24: I don't own stock in the company, and I'm not an employee. I'm still wearing these bras to run and workout. They are great and are still holding up. I wish the company would make the a front-closure, racerback high impact sports bras with the same material. Maybe someday.

Finally! Excellent fit. Very well-made bra and excellent support. Comfortable too.

So I will preface this review by saying I wear a 38DD in regular bras. I had the chance to try this on at a store, and the band runs tight, so I had to size up to a 40 band which made the DD cup size too big. I ended up ordering a 40D based on the sizes I tried in store. Well, it came in the mail today and I was sent a 40DDD instead of the 40D I ordered. Two whole cup sizes bigger!! I figured what the heck, it’s here, let me try it. And low and behold, it fits well! I don’t know if the one I tried in store was stretched out in the cups for a DD to be too roomy, but I’m glad they messed up my size. It ended up working in my favor! That is the reason I said it runs small. I ended up in a band and cup size bigger than my regular bra size, but if you can get your size right, this thing is a good one! I do zumba, hiit workouts and circuit training, so I need things to be supportive and hold me in. Overall, this has really good coverage and feels structured and supportive. I like that the straps are padded and slightly closer set than my normal bras so they won’t slide down my shoulders. I love how high this comes up under my arms! I hate having my side boob hang out, and this comes up high enough to prevent that issue without being uncomfortable in the underarm area. I don’t usually love hook closures because it makes things uncomfortable to lay down for any exercises, but the coverage makes this great for Zumba and high intensity stuff where I’m not on the ground, so I will use it for those activities. The seams feel sturdy and I don’t feel any pokey or itchy spots. So far, I can see this being a good bra to add to my workout gear rotation. I did not receive any compensation for my review, and I will update if things are not as stated with use. I will also say that the company that fulfilled my order (NY lingerie) was not the greatest. Not only did they send the wrong size, but the packaging was also lacking. UPDATE: I wore this to Zumba today, and it performed not as well as I would’ve hoped, so I took off a star. I thought I’d be held in well, but there was still some bounce. But to be fair, I have yet to find a sports bra that completely eliminates the bounce without suffocating me. More annoying then that was the mesh in the front! As soon as I started to sweat, the mesh felt itchy and irritating on my chest! It went away slightly towards the end of my workout, but I’m hoping it softens when I wash it because I can’t return it after wearing it. I for sure thought this was the holy grail, but it has a couple flaws. If the mesh softens up, this will still be a good bra worth what I paid for it.

I got a recommendation for this bra and I'm glad I took it. This is perhaps the most comfortable bra I've ever worn, sports or otherwise. The cups hold me well through low to moderate level activity. The sides have great coverage (no side boob). The straps have a gel padding, kind of like what you'd see on backpack straps, just scaled down. Because it closes like a regular bra (hook and eye closure), it's not a struggle to get it on or off. It even gives me a nice shape (no uni-boob) Finally, it's really comfortable!

Read below if you want to know how fabulous these bras USED TO BE. I am so disappointed that this last one I ordered isn't at all the same. It is still supportive, and it's a better "minimizer" (supportive smasher) under certain clothing than expensive minimizers are out there BUT.... It's not nearly as comfortable as they used to be. Straps dig, as one other review stated - it is irritating on the seam where the tag is sewn, and the proportions just aren't the same. Bummer. Shoulda stocked up more. UPDATE: Have loved this bra for many many years. My older ones have been amazing, but are getting tired. Ordered 3 new ones, different sizes - on the positive, the hold is still terrific for exercise, and the minimizing is better (under clothing) than any minimizing bra I've tried (and I've spent big money on them all). On the negative, the construction/structure(?) of the bra has definitely declined. After just a washing or two, the hooks are pulling out a smidge from strain, and yes, the band scrunches a bit now on larger sizes. I am a 38D on other bras, and I now order a 42"D or DD on this bra. I certainly don't care .... it fits well, but doesn't hold as snuggly and I'm concerned about the pulling apart of the hooks after just a few washes. In my review a few years ago below, I called this bra a "Sherman Tank," Now only time will tell if they hold up as well as the old soldiers I have. ORIGINAL REVIEW, SERVERAL YRS AGO: I am a 36-38DD and have many sports bras sitting in my closet that I will never wear. This one is pretty darn good. While I don't run, I work out every day (aerobics, yoga, weights) and this bra holds like a Sherman Tank, and it is comfortable while sweating. The girls are held tight and high and not much of a uniboob. It does smoosh me out to the side just a little, but it isn't uncomfortable the way many minimizers are. I ordered my regular size and it fit perfectly. This bra is high, but can definitely be worn with regular clothing. Held up perfectly to machine wash and hang dry, they are now the only bras I use for exercise.

I have bought 38dd for several years in this style, usually white. At least 6 per year. . Recently I purchased white again and it ran so small it cut off my circulation, it was so tight and I was spilling over. I returned and ordered a 40dd. However straps are super long and cannot be pulled up enough. I had purchased 2 of exact same item a couple months ago and they fit but the sides came apart so threw them away. Champion now has a fit problem. I suspect they moved this style to another factory, someone needs to check the pattern against what is being produced. Please fix this problem. This is a great athletic bra and somebody messed up! Over the last few months. Please review your pattern and bras and you will clearly see somebody changed the fit drastically smaller and no grading between sizes. Thx

I bought this sports bra over 15 yrs ago and I wore them out. Finally found the current version and I am thrilled. My bra size is 38C. The fit is perfect. It is versatile in that I will wear it on a day when I would rather not but MUST wear a bra. The fabric is updated, airy, lighter, Straps are just wide enough, feel soft on my shoulders (no digging into my muscle) as well as the thin padding in the cups. Great value for the quality. I need a sports BRA which is actually A BRA

I began my physical fitness journey doing low impact aerobics 40 years ago after the birth of my son, and I needed to lose weight. That is when I purchased my first Champion sports bras which, believe it or not, I have continued to wear. But when the elastic began to crackle, I decided it was time to invest in new bras. My workouts of choice are strength training, weight lifting, and high intensity interval training with barre sprinkled in as well; it should be noted that I do not do high impact training or running. I first tried the big box sports stores, but neither carried Champion. Since Champion had served me well all of this time, I wanted to stay with that brand but kept an open mind and researched other brands. Enter Amazon Prime Day. I finally decided on these bras and ordered two in white and two in nude upsizing the band size by one size as most of the reviews suggested. They are heavenly! Yes, I fully realize that after 40 years bras, like everything else, have come a long way. As time has gone on, it has become more difficult for me to remove racer back bras (which I have always worn and loved) and almost impossible when I am sweaty after a workout, so a back hook-and-eye closure was mandatory even though I was skeptical. When I opened the package the first things I noticed were how light the bras felt in my hand, the quality of the construction, and the overall appealing aesthetic. The straps are wide and soft with a quilted feeling and gel padding preventing chafing and the "digging into the shoulder" effect; the straps are also easily adjusted. The closure in the back has three rows of three hooks for fine tuning the snugness of the band. While doing exercises which require lying on my back, there have been no problems from the bra which actually surprised me. Even though there is no padding the material is sufficiently substantial so that there is no see-through, and I have not been victim of the dreaded "nippling" effect. This underwire free bra has a nice quality, heavy duty elastic band that, after sizing up one, fits perfectly securely, sits firmly but is not too tight, and does not fold, pinch or buckle. The material feels soft and almost silky on the skin with no rubbing or irritation. There is no feeling of being drenched from sweat with the moisture wicking technology, and the mesh portion of the fabric facilitates air flow. During workouts these bras have offered good compression and support yet allowed me to move freely in all directions with no interference. I have worn these bras for high intensity interval training, strength conditioning, weight lifting, and walking, and I could not be more pleased with them. After ordering the first 4, I subsequently have ordered a black one with my only regret being that I did not order more! I actually called my sister and told her about the bra; she promptly ordered 4 for herself. These bras are extremely comfortable and are one of the most comfortable bras (not just sports bras) that I have ever worn; I almost feel as if I am not wearing a bra at all the feel is so lovely. For my purposes, this bra is as close to perfection as a bra could get. I would give it 10 stars if I could! I'm a long distance runner, and have tried MANY sports bras. This one is by far the most comfortable and well fitting sports bra I have ever worn! The gel straps sit comfortably on the shoulders, and don't dig in even with the down force from foot impact. It's true to it's word that it's a high (impact) support sports bra. I'm a 34DD, and the girls don't move or bounce. I'm very narrow through the waist and rib cage, and this bra fits snuggly without being too tight (clipped on the tightest hooks and eyes). I've ran 14k in this bra so far with zero rubbing or chafing. The material is breathable, comfortable, and also sweat wicking. I ordered exactly my size, and it fits perfectly. I'm very impressed with this bra, and even happier I ordered one in blue as well! I will definitely be ordering more in the future.

Muy buen bra deportivo, ajusta muy bien y tiene muy buen soporte, pero sobre todo es muy cómodo. Actualización del producto , lo amé tanto que es el segundo que me compro y lo quiero en más colores, me pasa que los bras deportivos no sostengan bien o me dejen las boobs muy caídas y con este no.
