Can charge quit fast
Will run and charge at same time. It will charge at around 3a at12.9v if new batteries are low. Apparently uses 18650 Li Ion at 1,500 MA. Normally then, fastest charge rate supported would be1.5a max after adding for the load, battery life will be less. I suspect you could fully charge in maybe a half hour but battery life would be affected heat could be a issue. Most may not care about that, for me it is a big concern for my project.

Need power for dinning room light
My Rv dinning room light lost power and it is in the slide. I have no idea the path to track down the missing power. This was a great solution to get power to this dining room light

portable / rechargeable
Great 12V. Light and rechargeable, works great for my LED lights. And the charging plug is included.

do not use as a backup
loses power too fast for what it costs. I had to buy 3 and piggy-back them for a useful sustained charge

Inexpensive 12v Uninterruptible Power Supply
When the power goes out, I have uninterruptible power supplies to keep my computer and in-home server running for at least long enough to shut down safely. However, as soon as the power goes out, my wired ethernet connection goes offline. Enter this Horsun 12v Li-ion battery pack, which effectively operates as a cheap 12v uninterruptible power supply for each of my ethernet routers - which all run on 12v dc, and draw 1 amp, well above the rated output of this device. All in all, It's a fantastic and cheap solution! Of course, it's in no way designed for this purpose, so I'll check on it a bit more frequently to make sure the batteries remain happy. Sorry for the under-desk wiring mess in the picture, but I think it helps explain how I'm using these batteries. Instead of using the charger that came with it, I'm using the 12v power supply for the router to keep the battery topped off - this means that while the run time for the battery might be a bit shorter, but the battery won't be getting over charged and the output won't exceed the voltage of the device itself. Besides, the charger is not UL, ROHS or FCC rated - it only has European/CE (Conformité Européene) safety rating, which isn't as difficult to earn as UL.

Decent power - not a good substitute for small drill battery
would I buy again- yes I bought this battery with intent of driving an older 9.6volt Makita drill I really like- Nicads are expensive and seemed to fade quickly. Wanted to upgrade to a better power supply and this seemed like a good idea. It actually fit in the old drills batter case. Product was advertised as a similar Capacity (1500 mah) and has a fairly robust battery protection feature (BMS) . It works. This is an important safety feature with Lithium-ion batteries in that it protects you and the battery form overheating and possible fires. When I first start the drill, it kicks in and drops the voltage. This is because starting a motor has the highest power demand on start-up and the protective circuit thought it was a short. If i did a slow start the drill came up to speed it ran ok--it was just the startup that produced the problem. I'm sure that for other applications it would be more than adequate. I really liked the fact that it came with a charger and a DC5521 connector as well as a buss block to connect it to your device. It also comes with fairly robust 16 ga wire for higher power applications. May be a substitute for drill battery if run in parallel but as a single power source the BMS will frustrate you
