These sable watercolor paint brushes are very well made, especially at such an affordable price! Watercolor is a new medium for me. Im no professional but painting with acrylics has been my passion for decades. I am happy to report my findings as Ive used many paint brushes over the years. They fit comfortably in my hand and load quite a bit of liquid (whether water or paint) into the bristles. That makes for fluidity in my stroke on the canvas/paper, which is a very BIG DEAL Ive come to learn with watercoloring. Its not a breeze cleaning them but I don’t mind their dense hairs. In fact as I cleaned them I was reminded of how much I appreciated that density while painting, lol. You wont be diappointed, theyre well made with dense hairs and feel natural in your hand.

These are nice looking brushes and feel comfortable in the hand. As others mentioned the smaller Brush is fall way down in the carrying case. With this style of case I don't see how that's avoidable because of the variation between smaller and larger size brushes and their associated handles. The brushes themselves look fairly good except for the mop brush. It came to misshapen and after examining it closer I find it's the feral that is misshapen. I'm gonna try washing it well and seeing if it can be reshaped but I may have to ask the seller to replace the mop brush. I've included close-up pictures for you to examine. All the others were nice and tight no stray bristles and no bristles that came loose when they were washed.

Not a bad set of brushes but they have poor water retention. They are higher quality than Artists Loft but lower than Princeton Select. They are definitely a cheap set of brushes.

The description on this item is fairly accurate good quality brushes and it also includes a leather pouch for even added value.

The precision is excellent. Holds a point well. Applies to all brushes in the set. The only thing I dislike is that it doesn’t hold much water. I still always choose these over the other brushes I have. Also, the case is useless. It’s way too long so you’re going to lose the smaller brushes in there and damage the hairs. The design of the case is inconvenient to use so I don’t even store anything else in there. The brushes do not shed at all. Not a single hair. I don’t use the skinniest brush because the round brushes hold very fine tips I never need to use any other.

Solide Pinsel für Anfänger. Kommen gut verpackt an. Lassen sich vielleicht nicht mit der teuren Konkurrenz von daVinci messen, aber für den Preis eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

I have only used 3 of the 8 brushes so far, but they appear to me superior to the Princeton brushes I was using before; the tips are firm and well shaped, and they're not losing bristles.

Ich war kritisch bei der Bestellung. Als Vegetarier wollte ich aber gern synthetische Pinsel kaufen. Und ich bin zufrieden. Sie halten meinen Rotmarder Pinseln stand und ich freue mich darüber. Wie haltbar sie sind, kann ich noch nicht sagen. Das Mäppchen ist wie erwartet aus Kunstleder.
