I will say that the battery life on this laptop is not the best I've seen. It might be because I have been using my screen pretty bright? I have noticed that it drains the battery when I close my laptop and try to use it again in 2-3 days. Not sure if it's normal but I had a 2nd generation X1 and I believe the battery would last a bit longer. Overall I'm very happy with this unit, I wish there was a way to the color or material wouldn't show my finger/hand print, man it's hard to keep it clean.

Device only had 1 month of warranty on it when received. Probably best to buy this device from an authorized retailer.

I purchased this Lenovo laptop on 1/10/23 - it stopped working on 11/21/23. Lenovo informed me the warranty had expired. I asked when and Lenovo stated that I would have to contact the seller for more information. I contacted the seller about the warranty, they asked he for the serial number which I provided and I NEVER heard from them again. Lenovo hustled me for a renewal warranty which does not become effective until 30 days after I purchased it. I will NEVER purchase another Lenovo product. I will never purchase from this seller because of poor customer service. Amazon, you should require that sellers identify the date of expiration of manufacturer's warranty at time of purchase.

I bought it for 1540. 512gb,i7,16gb ram, win 11 pro. Good build quality ,feels premium. . Fingerprint magnet. Comes with zero eyes strain technology. Display is not crisp as surface or Macbook, however still good like dell xps 13. No special discount for MS office. Overall good buy specifically if you are looking for business , compact, travel and mobility.
