3000 miles head to head with Mac's foamies
These have been my go-to daily earplugs for three years now. You should also know I have an earplug graveyard of models that just didn't do it. These are my favorite because they're quick in and out, reduce wind noise like whoa, and are the most comfortable of all the flanged plugs I've tried. That said, I'm writing this review because I had an interesting experience this past week that pushed these from 'excellent' to 'phantasmic'. Gather round if ye value yer ability to hear and stuff. I rode from PA to Florida and back over six days on a BMW RT. You know, the chubby one with a tractor engine. 3000 miles taking the back roads at most of a full send. On rides over three hours, I usually opt for foam plugs because they're just more comfortable and I once believed they absorbed more noise, leaving you with less of a headache at the end of each day. My weapon of choice is the Mac's Slim Fit Foam Earplugs, the purple ones, because I have smaller ear canals. These are rated at 32 db, indistinguishable from the 33 db of their standard size, the flesh-tone foamies, but infinitely more comfortable. In the southern heat, it was simply impossible to get a good seal with the foamies. The warmer they get, the faster they expand as you try to shove them towards your eardrum. I got the right one in deep, but the left just wouldn't suck it in for more than half a second. After three hours and three tries, I swapped it out for a trusty Earpeace moto with a solid black filter. Earpeace never resists. Immediately my music was twice, if not three times louder in that ear. A good thing. But. Somehow. The wind buffeting was quieter. Huh. Now reader, it was not as comfortable as the purple people eater, but eight or nine hours later I couldn't tell the difference. But a difference there was. If you've ever done a 500+ mile highway jaunt, you've heard the phantom whine at the end of the day. A ghostly ringing of the miles you have slain. Temporary deafness. 'Tinnitus!', some may whisper loudly. I am familiar with its caress. But tonight one ear doth protest notably louder than the other. Mac had let me down, and let me down hard. All these years I assumed that not being able to hold phone conversations with foam plugs equipped meant the wind was as frustrated as the person screaming at me from the other end of the line. But in fact, the wind had been there all along, sneaking in along with the purple. My Peace-bearing left ear remained much, much less affected by the day's voyage than the right, and yet it had allowed me to better hear music, and traffic, and nature, and Cardo's insufferably pleasant low battery declarations. I know what I'll be wearing when I head for Alaska. TLDR These block wind noise better than any foamie, but let you hear everything else better. Believe it.

Excellent product
I have meniers, so ear protection on a motorcycle is paramount. I've tried several earplugs designed for motorcycles and this is the best yet. The wind noise, as well as exhaust sound ( my bike is a little loud) are dampened to a comfortable level. Two things that are negative, but not enough to take away the high score: 1) They can get a little uncomfortable, but a short break and the discomfort is gone. 2) The tabs for retrieving could be a bit longer. I've had issues getting them out of my ear. I resolved the second issue by threading a piece of string through the tab. Now just a slight pull and easily retrievable.

Not bad, not perfect
Pretty good and will definitely save your eardrums, but makes every a little too quiet, and I can't hear my buddies that well through our radio. But with my music on blast I can hear it good going highway speeds.

I love these earplugs on long rides.
These earplugs are a must on long rides. I have tinnitus, and it gets aggravated after a few hours of wind noise and exhaust drone. Plus, I have to raise my radio volume too high to hear over the wind. These earplugs cut out the wind noise, but I can still hear traffic and music clearly. I can hear people talking to me, they just really cut out the wind rushing past my ears. I love the carrying case, it looks good and is functional. Throwing in a spare is a really nice touch! I highly recommend these earplugs if you do longer rides, especially on the highway. They are worth every penny, especially if you get them on sale.

Solid Earplugs for Riding
These help massivley when riding my 600 - cuts down wind and engine noise, comes with multiple sizes however they are not labeled so hard to tell the difference between the pairs. So far theyve held up for about a week of riding, well see how long they last

Excellent Earplugs
They work great for most situations. I have pretty sensitive ears, so I did end up going back to foamies when riding a side-by-side since that thing is so freaking loud and fatiguing, but in general I think these are great for most users and I have loved them for concerts and events since they are low profile and comfy. If I was on a quieter machine like a normal bike I think they would be perfect, and they are sure better than nothing. I wish they were a little more effective, but they are comfortable, durable, easy to clean, and the case is nice. Good buy.

Went back to foam earplugs.
I really wanted these to work. The foam plugs were too quiet and and caused pressure in my ears. First day I tried these, I was so happy. Two hours of riding and although not as quiet as the foam, it definitely blocked enough wind noise but allowed me to hear other things more easily. Here's the problem, when turning my head to look at traffic plugs came loose. Had to keep pulling over to reinsert. They were in correctly every time. Sometimes I'd go 2 hours sometimes I'd go 15 mins before they loosened up. When they were partially in during these times the sound was unbearable. Especially since it was only one ear sometimes. I spent most of my rides over the rest of the week constantly stopping to fix them. It happened in both ears on and off. They were inserted correctly and were fine sometimes for hours. Other times not. I got headaches, horrible ringing in my ears. I already have tinnitus from years of being a landscaper and these plugs actually made it worse. It got so bad I actually went to my doctor. He watched me insert them. Said they look fine but would definitely shift when moving my head. Told me they could actually cause more damage if in incorrectly and to stop using them. He recommended I see if any company makes these in a smaller size so they could go in a little deeper to get a good grip. Or possibly go get custom ones made. I'll check into that. I'm back to foam again and my ears are happy. I'll deal with the foam feel and pressure and save what's left of my hearing. I may try these style plugs again with the Eargasm brand just to compare. But I'm done with these.

Great product
I was looking for ear plugs that would work when riding a motorcycle with a helmet. I was also wanting something that would work with the helmet speakers and Cardo intercom and not block that sound out. I saw these and read reviews both here and multiple sources on the internet. The reviews were positive for the most part and so I thought I’d give them a try. If I didn’t like them it said they were returnable. I followed the instructions carefully about putting them In. I had no problem with putting them in or out. At least not anymore or less than I have with any other type of in the ear plugs. These were much more comfortable than your standard ear plugs. As soon as I started riding I noticed a significant drop in wind noise. I turned on the music and could hear it just fine, in fact I could hear it better because of the noise reduction of the wind. In fact I didn’t notice any wind when my visor was down and only a small amount when it was up. I tried the phone through the headset to see how that was. It sounded great. I was impressed and bought a second pair to give to my son for when he rides his bike. I would recommend these to everyone. I’m sure everyone’s ears are different, but with making sure you insert them properly and the additional size they give you, you should see much improvement and comfort wearing these. The only thing I would mention is after you insert them be careful putting your helmet on because you may dislodge them if your ears get pulled on really hard when putting the helmet on and you may need to reinsert them.

Excellent Ear Plugs
There are a lot of noise reducing ear plugs on the market and I've tried a few but they don't fit too well and work their way out in a short period of time. EarPeace are getting good reviews so I thought I'd try them out. Yes they are more expensive than others but well worth the investment. These come with 2 sizes of silicon plug so you can find the nest fit for you but they don't just give you a pair of each, they give you 3 of each in case you loose one. In addition to that you get 3 noise reduction filters so you can choose how much noise you want to block. I went for the highest in the medium plug size giving around 24db reduction and they are fantastic, giving a massive reduction in high speed wind noise but still allowing me to hear the bike engine (just about) and other important noises such as sirens and horns. They are comfortable and most important don't fall out or work themselves loose. They have a handy aluminium case which fits your 2 main buds in one end and there's a smaller compartment at the bottom end for your spare. Brilliant!

Floored design
Too difficult to remove tiny slippery pull tag hard to use so they get stuck in the ear. I had a poor fit with all 3 sizes.
