Mixed feelings wanted to try it most definitely can live without it not sure what it does it’s hard to get through the hair it doesn’t curl much it bumps the ends a bit will probably just stick to my straightener or my blow dryer brush or my hot rollers. I’m kind of confused because it’s so hard to get through the hair that you almost don’t even want to use it. It’s my first time using it so maybe I need to practice more. It bumped my ends nicely. Luckily, I was using fake hair because I don’t see how I could just be trying to keep on pulling it through my natural curly hair. I definitely wouldn’t recommend doing your hair wet and then blow drying it with this tool. I wanted to try it. I took a chance, but if I had a choice, I probably wouldn’t have bought it. It’s not useless if I don’t have anything else, but I just don’t see trying to struggle trying to get the brush through my straight hair on a daily basis when it barely does anything I tried to curl with it and it didn’t curl good It just bumped my ends a bit I will keep on practicing because this thing can’t be this useless. Update just horrible don’t wast ur money I been practicing trying different ways different heat settings. It’s useless. It doesn’t even grip there. How can you work with the product that doesn’t grip there? I heard this brush was horrible, but I wanted to try for myself totally regret it. My aunt told me not to get it, but I didn’t think it would be this bad. I had a little extra money and took the chance. Big mistake.

I was really excited to try the TYMO 2.0 Thermal Brush because I was looking for a quieter alternative to my curling iron and Dyson Airwrap. I get up very early in the mornings, so having a styling tool that doesn't sound like a blow dryer was a big selling point for me. For reference, I have very thick Asian hair. It's naturally full with some frizz and loose waves, so it almost always needs to be styled. I've been doing my own hair for years and am very comfortable using curling irons and blow dryers, so I already have a good amount of styling experience. The first thing I noticed is that this tool is very well made. It heats up quickly, feels high quality, and is noticeably quieter than most styling tools, which I really appreciated. If noise is important to you, this is definitely a plus. Where I struggled was with performance on my hair type. Even on the highest heat setting, it didn't create curls or volume as effortlessly as I had hoped. Instead of simply wrapping and gliding the brush through my hair, I had to hold sections against the barrel and slowly work them around the brush to get any bend or shape. It worked, but it required much more time and effort than I expected. Because of that, styling my hair took about the same amount of time as using a traditional curling iron or my Dyson. The results were softer and more subtle rather than defined curls, which may be exactly what some people are looking for. I can absolutely see why this tool has so many positive reviews, especially for people with finer, thinner, or more easily styled hair. My experience was simply different because of my hair's thickness and texture. I don't think the product is defective—it just wasn't as effective on my hair type as I had hoped. In the end, I decided to keep it because I genuinely like how quiet it is, and it does give my hair a polished, smooth finish when I take the time to use it. I also purchased it during Prime Day, so I felt it was a good value for the price. Overall, I would recommend this thermal brush if you're looking for a quieter styling tool that creates soft volume and shape. If you have very thick, coarse, or resistant hair like mine, just know that it may require more time and technique than some of the demonstrations and reviews suggest.

Love this curling brush, get's the job done, and recovers bedhead for a put together look in the morning. Easy to use, and so impressed with the results! Be careful to not get too close to your scalp it will burn. Has taken me a couple of times using to get my routine down so I don't burn myself. Once I got a routine down, no issues. Happy with my purchase.

This is a nice looking product out of the box. It appears to be made with quality parts and feels quite substantial in my hand. The cord does not seem like it would be one that would become tangled. It’s a heavier cord and it’s manufactured to rotate. My stars reflect these qualities. I did not have any troubles turning it on like I read in other reviews. It quickly and easily heat up, and stopped blinking when it was ready for use. First impressions were wow, nice product. There isn’t really a learning curve here, it’s pretty straightforward, wrap the hair around the rod, wait, release. The problem is, it doesn’t wrap the hair tightly on the rod. No amount of twisting and twirling will get the hair past the bristles and down tighter to the heating elements where it could grab the hair to curl it. When I tried to guide the hair closer through the bristles, I burnt my finger pretty good, so there’s plenty of heat, if the hair could just get to it. What I found is, if you were looking for a straightener this item would work pretty good, the hair seems nicely polished after using, but it’s advertised all over as making big, bouncy, blow out curls…that is what I wanted, that is what I bought it for. In reality, it did not do that for me. I really wanted this product to work. My hair is layered and just shoulder length, so there is not a lot of weight to it. I had just been in my stylist chair the day before, and she suggested the item to me as something that could maybe work. She hadn’t tried it either, but according to advertising it looked like as soon as UPS delivered, I would be a happy camper! We were both very excited for it to work its magic! It seemed to be just what my hair needed! Sadly, after several hours messing with this the next day, I had to give in to the fact that there was no blowout volume, and there was certainly no curl. Unfortunately, my review is: The product does not work as advertised and therefore isn’t worth the asking price. This item will go back, and I’m left feeling duped once again by less than accurate advertising.

I really like this item. My hair reacted to the ceramic barrel and I haven't had it look this way since the salon (note: I chose the L'Oreal Absolut system). Learned about the brush from a YT influencer. Unfortunately, it never occurred to me that when I want spiral curls they can't be achieved on shoulder length hair, so I'm returning the 1.7 barrel for a 1.5 and hope this is the correct size. Still, using the brush was amazing & it's the only way I'll put heat in my hair in the future!

Okay I absolutely love this and had no idea I needed it in my life!! I have a butterfly haircut but I could never achieve that perfect “bang flick” but this thermal brush gives that to me in 10 seconds! There’s so much you can do with it but that is why I personally purchased it and I’m so happy I did. It heats up quickly, it’s very easy to use/ beginner, friendly, and it’s comfortable to hold, which is pretty important for me. I will have to play around with it more with different hairstyles. I think this was Farrah Fawcett’s secret tool 😉

Je cherchais à obtenir un effet Silk Press-like à la maison, sans passer par des lissages qui me coûtent une fortune et disparaissent trop rapidement. Je cherche à garder ma fibre capillaire naturelle, ce qui exclut évidemment les lissages définitifs et défrisages. Cette brosse est très populaire sur les réseaux sociaux. J’ai longuement hésité avant de me décider pour cette brosse en particulier, plutôt que Wavytalk ou autres. Mais les vidéos YouTube semblaient très concluantes sur les cheveux de type 4B et 4C. Je me suis finalement laissée tenter. Je l’ai achetée en complément du Revlon One Step Volumiser, qui par ailleurs effectue un bon séchage préalable. En effet, pour un maximum d’efficacité, elle est à utiliser sur cheveux correctement brushés. La brosse n’est ni trop grosse, ni trop lourde. Il ne s’agit pas d’une brosse soufflante, mais bien d’un revêtement thermique. Elle ne tourne pas automatiquement. Elle ne dispose pas de picots, simplement de poils ; elle m’emmêle de fait pas spécialement les cheveux. Elle est légère, facile à utiliser. Elle chauffe effectivement très fort, et les mèches lissées peuvent être brûlantes à la fin du passage. Il convient donc de faire attention à ne pas se brûler les doigts. J’ai bien pris la peine de sélectionner des sections pas trop épaisses, de les démêler de nouveau et d’utiliser un protecteur thermique, évidemment. Le résultat est bluffant. Les cheveux sont incroyablement affinés et disciplinés. Le fait qu’il s’agisse d’une brosse ronde permet de leur donner du mouvement et des ondulations, choses généralement impossibles pour des cheveux frisés. Je ne peux pas garantir qu’elle sera aussi parfaite sur tout type de cheveux, mais mes cheveux métissés-naturels-frisés-de type 4B sont incroyables avec cette brosse. Je n’ai qu’une question : où était-elle durant toutes ces années ?!
