Very comfortable, used these to go hiking in Glacier National Park, were very comfortable in the rain and over the rough terrain even on a 12+ hour day of hiking. They fit true to size although I am curious if the wide version would’ve been just a bit more comfortable. But overall they were perfect and exactly what I needed for this trip.

My daughter bought these for our trip to a national park. She loved them. They were cute and comfy. True to size. They held up well to a week of hiking.

This is my second pair since my last one finally cracked at the toe, however I hike a lot in every season and they lasted a long time. I sprayed it with a waterproofing spray just as an extra layer (I wear them in the snow), however they are actually pretty waterproofed on their own. They’re incredibly comfortable (holds my ankles) and the grip is great.. I’ve been on plenty of slippery rocks and steep inclines and they’ve kept me from slipping a bunch of times. Definitely recommend

EDIT after Grand Canyon backpacking trip: I got a wide fit + half a size bigger as recommended by hikers who warned against foot swelling. MISTAKE. It's fine and dandy straight of the box going up, going down steep anything HURTS. For reference I was hrs slower going down the rim than going up. I went down in the dark, but that didn't factor in near as much as the PAIN in my toes going down South Kaibab. It felt better going down in my camp sandals, though it wasn't safer or much faster. This is your message from the universe telling you to GET YOUR SIZE AND BREAK THEM IN. Or if you go wide, stick with your size. If you go up half a size, DON'T GET WIDE. Still good shoes, held up as expected, if heavy and hot. But by God, just don't size up in width AND size. PICK ONE IF YOU MUST! Take the time to break it in. Seriously. I can only wear these for mild elevation hikes, which defeats their purpose and wastes my money. Better yet, try on hiking shoes in the store and wait to buy them on sale online. - Haven't used yet, but just walking around with them on is great, no need for breaking in if you're in a rush! The soles feel like they're sticky enough to grip wet rock or loose dirt, but they're also pretty hot and sweaty doing nothing in a 70 degree room🥲 so it's better for colder climates, definitely not for summer or hot dry/wet use. I'm between a 6.5 to a 7 and got a 7 wide to accomodate for socks and foot swelling, but they fit comfortably even with one pair of socks. They look nice too, but one reviewer said the black was really a dark green, which I was hoping for! But black is just black. Maybe it'll turn green with sun exposure or a water repellant spray in time. Will update to see how they hold up under the rim of the Grand Canyon and other adventures🤞 Intially, it seems worth the 70 bucks I spent for black friday, but at full price, I'm sure there are comparative options at a lesser price point.

These did the job for a weeklong trip with daily hiking. Comfortable use for 4 hour walks/hikes. Good traction. The shape of the toe box on my left shoe was slightly irregular. I notice those little details but I could live with it. A great boot, worth every penny. I am between 8.5 and 9. I tried both and the 9 was slightly too big. 8.5 was very good and only had a little toe soreness on long descending hikes. There was no need to break these boots in. They were comfortable from day 1.

Like everyone said, these shoes are super comfortable right out of the box. I bought them and wore them two days later to hike Yosemite. They needed no break-in period and I had absolutely no blisters or even discomfort the whole time. We hiked about 10 miles; they were waterproof and gripped all the terrain (gravel, dirt, wet staircases, rocks, etc.) beautifully. At the end of the day, they still looked brand new! They’re durable, easy to lace up and adjust, and versatile in almost all hiking terrain. I had some confusion with sizing though. I wear a 6.5, medium to wide width. After reading that many people sized up to account for thick socks, I ordered 6.5 regular, 6.5 wide, 7 regular, 7 wide. I found the 6.5 regular to fit perfectly with thinner socks. 6.5 wide was too wide (even with thick socks) and 7 wide too big in length and width. I was quite surprised to find that 7 regular and 6.5 wide were almost the same length (6.5 was actually just a smidge longer!) and exactly the same width externally (I measured, see pictures), though the 6.5 wide seemed to look a little wider on. So for anyone who wears a 6.5 or 7, you can probably get away with purchasing a 6.5 wide or 7 regular if you find a color or price point is better between the two. I preferred the brown color with the contrasting red laces, so kept that and returned the black. Hope this review helps someone!

This was my first time hiking in these boots and my first time hiking, ever! I hiked for hours for an entire week. Going up very steep steps and jogging down gravely and rocky trails and I was beyond happy that the only thing I got was a bit of a callous on my big toe. My feet had the normal aches of an inexperienced walker hiking too much, but no extra pains that uncomfortable or unsupportive shoes usually give you. These boots are also definitely waterproof, as I did splash around some smaller creeks and my feet and socks stayed nice and dry! Would definitely recommend getting these boots to anyone.

I really enjoyed these untill they shrunk from getting wet too many times. I only got a few months of wear out of them. If you will not be getting them completely soaked they would be great.

Für mich ein ganz toller Wanderschuh. Ich habe ihn bei einer 20km-Tour im Schnee das erste mal getragen. Beim klettern und Eis hatte ich einen sehr guten halt. Meine Füße sind dabei trocken und warm geblieben. Obwohl der Schuh sehr stabil ist, ist er sehr bequem zu tragen und nicht schwer am Fuß. Vor allem vom Fußbett her. Ich habe keine Blasen von der Wanderung bekommen. Lediglich eine Druckstelle an einem Knöchel, da dieser etwas ausgeprägter ist als der Andere. Das ist allerdings kein Hindernis, da der Schuh mittels der oberen Hakenschnürung super von der weite her einstellen lässt. Ebenso lassen sie sich leicht reinigen. Ich finde die Schuhe von der Größe sehr passgenau. Kann sie sehr weiterempfehlen.

Excelente bota. Utilizei em longas caminhadas. Completamente impermeável . Importante "amaciar" antes.
