Great projector with strong sound and crisp picture!
We use this projector on our screened-in porch for movie nights, and it’s been awesome! It’s actually an upgrade from an older Yaber model that we already put hundreds of hours on. The old one still works fine, but I was tired of having to hook up an external speaker every time. This new K3 model has built-in JBL speakers, and the sound quality is fantastic. Clear voices, solid bass, and surprisingly good volume. The K3 also has a higher lumen rating, and that’s made a noticeable difference. We can actually start movies earlier in the evening now, even before it’s completely dark. It’s not going to beat direct sunlight (no projector really will), but on our covered porch, the picture looks great even around midday and just gets better as the light fades. One of my favorite upgrades is the built-in Google streaming device. The included remote controls both the projector and Google TV, which means no juggling multiple remotes. The only hiccup was that, out of the box, the remote didn’t control Google TV right away — but after updating the projector and following the pairing steps in the manual, it worked perfectly in just a few minutes. We’ve got it set about 13 feet from our 100” screen, and the image looks crisp and bright. I love that you can reduce the image size (we have ours at about 68%) without losing quality. The auto focus and keystone correction make setup super easy, it basically dials itself in for a perfect picture. We’ve also used the extra HDMI ports for some game nights with the Switch. There’s no noticeable input lag, at least not in the games we play like Jackbox. The audio output option is there, but honestly, we haven’t needed it, the built-in speakers have been more than enough for our porch setup. Setup overall was basically plug and play, aside from flipping the image for our overhead mount. It took just a few minutes before we were up and watching Halloween Town. Overall, this projector has been a great upgrade. Brighter picture, fantastic built-in sound, easy setup, and super convenient features. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great indoor or porch setup!

Very Bright State of the Art Projector with 30 watt JBL dolby sound and Google TV built-in
Having purchased some eight inexpensive projectors on Amazon over the years I finally found one which exceeded my expectations. You can see this when you turn on the projector for the first time. At 1600 lumens this is one very bright projector. You can actually watch videos during the day in a room where the lights have been turned off. I setup my projector with the VIVID picture setting. If you read the online manual you can setup this projector in about 15 minutes including signing into four or five of your favorite apps. Color and detail are very impressive. Color saturation is excellent. Black ratio right on point. The big surprise comes when you first hear the sound coming from this Dolby equipped device and 30 watt JBL speakers. Room filling sound with excellent voice clarity. Music just bounced all over the room. I have YouTube Premium which includes YouTube Music. Such a joy watching YouTube music videos with these amazing speakers. The manual that comes with the unit is only good for a quick start. There is a online manual which is actually on the home screen. If you use this manual you will get all your answers such as setting up Alexa, using electronic digital zoom, etc. The first thing you should do is update the firmware on the projector which can be found in settings. There was even a second update this week. The remote responds very quickly and has presets for Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus and YouTube. Many more apps are available on the Google Play Store. With the built-in Google TV voice searches using the remote is amazing. Ask for Jack Reacher and immediately you are taken to the video. You can use your Alexa device for such commands as turn on projector, turn off projector using the Whale skill on the Amazon app store. Airplay worked flawlessly from my Iphone. There are many ports in the back of the unit including HDMI, stereo plug, USB and ethernet. Many ways to connect external equipment. Keystone and focusing on the projector is almost instantaneous. This is done automatically by algorithms in the projector and it works perfectly. The unit also has the ability to detect screen size and adjust the picture to size automatically. I did not try this as I was projecting on a gray wall in my office. The unit has Cool Swift temperature control which adjusts the speed for cooling as needed. and eliminates unnecessary noise. Yaber claims it’s Nova Glow technology guarantees that everything you see will be bright and eye catching. This I saw and experienced directly. This is not a 4K projector but it is rated as 1920 x 1080 and the picture seems very clear, sharp and has beautiful saturation and backlight. The photos I took were on a gray wall in my office but the image was still breathtaking. If you expect to be disappointed, and then you are disappointed, you won’t be disappointed. I was definitely not disappointed by this projector. It is everything that I could have wished for. Just a great piece of technology.

Do not buy!!!!!!!
I have owned a Yaber K1 and K2 before purchasing the K3. Never had a single issue with them at all. After buying the K3 I will never buy anything Yaber product. After 2 months my return period through Amazon had ended and the issues started. One day I turn on the projector and the image was dark and very blurry after a couple of minutes the image went back into focus but the image was still very dark. I immediately sent a email to Yaber technical support and received one email a day from Yaber at 4am everyday for 3 weeks due to them only responding to email. Every response blaming me for a different setting or setup issue. After 3 weeks Yaber pushed a update that they said should fix the brightness problem but still the same. After the update the projector started to develop black blobs on the screen. I told Yaber I wanted a replacement due to it has overheating issues. One was sent and after 2 weeks now has the black spots again. I let them know and they said I can only have it on for 3 hours day and to use a fan blowing on it while using. They will not give me a replacement at this point and I am stuck with a new projector with a horrible image. They know the projector has overheating issues and will not fix or replace.

Great Stand-alone Projector (especially the Sound!!)
Great projector! - It’s got higher lumens, so it’s brighter and easier to see during the day. - Nice user interface with quality looking themes and screensavers - You can access the settings without leaving your HDMI input to the Home Screen. - The feature that REALLY stands out is the sound, Wow! It obviously wouldn’t take the place of full surround sound, but for a stand-alone unit it is Really impressive and powerful, and I’m sure adding the subwoofer with the pro version would be even more so! - Having Google Tv with all the apps available is great as well Important things to note: - The google TV is an actual physical dongle plugged into a hidden port, NOT a built-in module. So it needs to be independently paired with the Same remote and set up all on it’s own. This was not at all obvious to me and took quite a long time to figure out. - The projector is considerably heavier and requires a larger stronger 4 point mount (by removing the rubber feet on bottom), not just a single screw point that is compatible with a standard tripod. This is of course understandable with such powerful speakers. - One unfortunate thing I discovered is that it does not function well with wifi 6, which is a little surprising considering wifi 7 is already being rolled out. Though this is Not a deal breaker at all, considering that this can be gotten around if you have the technical know-how to temporarily disable it in your router settings. I definitely recommend this projector!

Solid performer
The Yaber K3 Smart Projector is a solid performer and has given me a great viewing experience. The 4K-supported picture is vibrant, and the 30W JBL speakers with Dolby Audio deliver rich, immersive sound. Google TV, WiFi6, and access to over 7000 apps—including Netflix—make it very versatile. The auto screen adaptation works smoothly, and setup was mostly straightforward. Some customers have reported image burn-in issues, so after reading the instructions carefully, I’ve avoided using static images—like gaming borders, news tickers, or paused videos—which seems to prevent any problems. Following these guidelines has led to a very positive experience for me. The only small drawbacks are occasional app lag and the projector’s bulk for outdoor use. Overall, it’s a powerful, feature-packed projector that I’d recommend for home movie nights and outdoor entertainment.

Smart TV apps & sounds great!
Great in this price range Unit was heavier and built better than I expected. Delivered quickly and packaged well. I own at least 4 other models by this brand and this is by far the best to date. Setup was ridiculously easy. Connecting to WiFi was the hardest part. Firmware upgrades were easy & went smooth. The auto size, zoom, and keystone correction works well. Unlike many budget minded projectors, this one seems to a nice consistent focus across all of the screen. Ready to go for most viewing and makes quickly positioning the projector and screen really easy for the beginner without digging through the menu. Advertised brightness seems legit. Feels like over 1500 lumens. Like a 2k lumen projector with a slightly used bulb as a comparison. Color is fine. Most viewers will be pleased at this price point. It has a nice lens cover too that seems to stay in place. The sound quality is very good. One of the better Ive heard on a sub 5k lumen projector. Way more boom than expected. Plenty of volume loudness and great dynamic range. Unit fan noise isn’t too bad. Projector volume at 10% volume is louder than the fan noise. 25% is a decent living room volume. 50% is nice and loud. At 75% plus, the bass starts to get boomy depending on content and it’s plenty loud. The remote control works great without pointing it anywhere near the projector. The menu/app works smoothly and looks better than similar models that I’ve used. Optional power on/standby choice is nice for event/commercial use. It’s a Google smart tv device! 5MB of RAM. This was a nice surprise. We are an Alexa household, but this still added a ton of smart tv apps that follow my Google account too. Casting from my phone & laptop worked great. Bonus! Couple things I would’ve liked to see: 1- Bass & treble controls for sound in the projector primary settings 2- The ability to turn off the splash screen and/or customize it. All in all I’m quite pleased at this price point. Quick to set up. Looks good. Brighter than many LED. Sound quality is amazing and loud. Smart TV apps built in is a huge bonus.

Image is good but the “built in” Google TV is not.
The image projection looks great! Picture is nice and clear. These projectors are still not bright enough for a lit room, but they still work well. Where the star deduction come from is their included Google TV unit. When I first fired it up, it worked well but navigation was slow so I installed the updates to see no change. Now as of the last update the language settings revert back to Traditional Chinese at EVERY power cycle. That in my book makes the Google TV portion useless to me. I ended up connection a trusty 4K Fire TV stick to an input and haven’t looked back. The audio works great and the sound level from the units cooling fans is definitely acceptable! Might be slightly over priced but I don’t regret the purchase.

Perfect for Our Basement Home Theater — Bright, Crisp, and Powerful Sound!
We’ve turned our basement into a small home theater, and the Yaber K3 Smart Projector has absolutely exceeded expectations. Because the basement is a naturally low-light environment, the image quality looks phenomenal — colors are rich, text is sharp, and even dark scenes from movies come through beautifully clear. The built-in JBL speakers with Dolby Audio deliver surprisingly full sound — no external soundbar or speaker system needed. It fills the room with clear dialogue and deep bass, which makes movie nights feel like we’re in a real cinema. Setup was quick and effortless. The auto-focus and screen-adaptation features dialed in the perfect image alignment in just seconds. The WiFi 6 and Bluetooth connectivity have been solid, and the design looks great in our basement If you’re considering this for a basement or other low-light room, don’t hesitate — the Yaber K3 delivers an immersive, high-end experience at an excellent price.

WOW !!!!!!!!!! Just WOW !!!!!!!!, and now more WOWS
totally 100% happy with it , easy to set up, quiet, excellent picture , colours etc, sound system is absolutely first class absolutely no need for anything else, exceeded all my expectations, well watchable in a daylight lit room, couldn’t be happier. Fantastic value for money, all adjustments are easy, plenty bright enough just WOW !!!!!!!!!! I have been using this every night now since it was delivered, just like going to the movies every night, the picture is very good, and if anything seems to be getting even better with use. But the sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just incredible I have the projector set up on a tripod, slightly forward of me and to the left and the sound seems to be projected from the screen, it definitely seems to throw the sound so that it is so realistic and from the screen, full rich rounded tones and superb for music too, A star is born sounds incredible, equally as good as my hi-fi 5*****

YABER K3 UN’ ALTRO PASSO IN AVANTI
Cosa dire…

Well Worth the $$$
I admittedly just entered the world of projectors because I couldn’t decide on a new television. I had initially purchased another projector (the one with 1000 ANSI that is always on sale for $299) and while it was okay-ish (with lots of hiccups), I decided that after obsessing over alternatives, this was the one I wanted and so far, I’ve been very happy with my decision. First, set-up was a breeze. It immediately focussed and centred itself and provided a clear, bright image during the daytime. I do recommend you go in and upgrade the firmware (if necessary) to make sure there aren’t any hiccups. While I use my AppleTV, I noticed this comes with the tv dongle (that can be removed) that allows you to make use of GoogleTV. Also, another cool feature is (once you download the app) you can screenshare with your phone/laptop. I can’t say I’m happy enough about the quality of the image and how bright it is, especially in the daytime. I also like how it comes with a removable lens cover. Remote: easy to understand and has more options than most. You will need to supply your own AAA batteries. RE sound: while I live in an apartment (and didn’t want to risk disturbing my neighbours), it’s JBL and the sound is fantastic. Fan sound: compared to the other system, it’s very quiet and there is an quiet mode as well. To me: it’s the best blend of picture/sound/apps you’re going to find for under $1,000, at least on here. The only thing I’d warn is that it is bigger (wider) than other units, so if you’re using a shelf etc, keep that in mind. Also, when I received the unit, there was some white dust on the rubber feet (yes, these are removable and should allow you to mount). I guess now I’ll just have to see if this stands the test of time. While other units come with warranty cards, this one didn’t, so I’m not even sure if it comes with a warranty? Edit: ~30 days later, the projector is still working really well and I’m happy with my purchase.
