Detour Eco Eau de Parfum Spray for Unisex, 3.4 Ounce

It took me a while to write this review because I wasn't sure what to make of this fragrance. This is my first oud fragrance so I didn't know what to expect. This is a strong, oud forward, complex fragrance that might not be for everyone. The first scent that I noticed was a strong lavender citrusy sweetness; then the oud becomes prevalent. The best way I can explain oud is that it is like a warm musky woody scent; it kind of smells like sweet warm sweat TBH. This oud scent is present throughout the entire development of the fragrance but its more prevalent towards the middle of that development. Finally, a sweet woody powdery scent takes over for the rest of the fragrance's development: it's soft, warm, and pleasant. When it comes to performance, I got a solid 8+ hours of longevity with a strong sillage for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. This is a strong fragrance and you can easily overdo it. The bottle is kind of weird looking, and cap can be a bit hard to put back on ( it only goes on in one direction.) I have accidentally sprayed a couple of times while trying to put the cap back on. It's not a big deal for me, all I care about is the juice inside. At first, I didn't quite get the fragrance, its like nothing I've used before, but I ended up liking it. I would say that, if you can sample it first, do so, but at this price point I think it's worth the risk if you like oud fragrances.

The scent is very very close to Haltane in the opening. It has a very strong woody scent, not oud but more of a foresty wood. It's slightly sweet and mellow as it dries down a bit. Silage/ projection is about 1 to 2 feet so it's definitely not an enclosed space type of smell initially but after about 2 hours, it becomes more of a skin scent. In short: Very close to Haltane but not as strong on Oud and Walnut. It has a slight sweetness like Layton but there isn't an apple pie touch to it. It has a nice fresh floral lavender as the under tone. All in all, I'd say worth the money if you want the smell but don't mind a slightly lower performance. It doesn't smell cheap, it smells better than some designer fragrences. Great for cooler weather and I'd avoid using it at a gym or cubical office

quits spraying about halfway thru the bottle... my dsecond bottle jsut did it, same as the first, i used it several times a week and they both quit spraying before half the bottle was used. smells great, but the price keeps going up and you dont even get to use half the bottle before the sprayer quits and you cant get any more out.

Is not 100% similar of what is cloning but is a vey good perfume, I will say is 75% similar when dries down. Last long in my skin.

I actually love this, if you like haltane & you like Layton? This is for you. Longevity seems average. 4-6 hours. I haven’t let this macerate yet and I just got it today so it’s hard to speak entirely but out of the box I loved it. It’s very similar to haltane but not as soft. It has the spice of Layton behind it. Like a calmer, oud-like Layton. Can’t wait to see how it smells in a month or so. On a side by side comparison the top note is identical but that background woody/oud isn’t as pronounced and slightly different. Regardless this is a great clone and smells pretty damn close. Def worth the buy.

Very pleasant scent with a fresh green apple vibe mixed with creamy woods. Easy to wear and versatile. Took a little time to mature after opening but now it performs much better. Great value for money.

Starke Geruch für Männer hält lang

This is a very nice smelling perfume. Similar to OFG and PDM Haltane. If the originals are too expensive for your taste this is definitely an excellent replacement.
