Was falling apart out of packaging. The blue string mechanism and spring don’t work at all and came off immediately. What a waste

Only lasted one season before the center button wore through making the tap to feed function completely useless.

only 4 star because the eyelets fell out of the assembly and onto the floor as soon as I opened it. I installed some that I had on hand and they fit more snug (i will superglue them in) .but all it would really take is a little bit of super glue and it would be good its really not a big deal. at 12$ who cares that the eyelets were a bit loose fitting. the assembly seems pretty rugged. use a light amount of super glue on the eyelets to keep them snug( if they are loose) do it before you lose one in the grass and start whining in product reviews...

Horrible quality and a lot smaller than the original one that came on the trimmer. The blue center spring cab keeps popping off everything I have to replace the string which is a lot more often than before. Also the metal string guide also keep falling out when i change the string. The only reason i gave it two stars was cause its functional. Stick with oem.

Husband says "it's a good replacement. No special about it." Seemed to be easier to replace and has longer string than others we've tried.
