INSINKERATOR Kitchen Sink Flange for INSINKERATOR Garbage Disposal, FLG-MTBLK, Matte Black

This is not durable at all. Paint chipped within a few months with gentle use and only water and dish detergent touching it. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! It’s poorly made or it would still be black and not have stainless steel showing. I would give it a negative number if I could!

You would think for the price this would be powder coated. Complete waste of money as it chipped within 6 months. I haven’t been able to find a paint option to cover it since it’s not easily replaceable. So disappointing but a lesson to read reviews

It took the seller 5 days from time order was placed to ship the product, then due to the slow shipping method used by seller took about another week to get here.Our old flange was chipped and looked terrible (after 15 years) so we ordered this to replace it. It's only been installed for a few days, but it looks great and the paint appears to be very durable (time will tell). Even though shipping was very slow, the product appears to be good quality and the price was good. Will update this review if in the future the paint chips.12/10/2013 Update: Less than a year later, there are major paint chips on this flange and it looks terrible. The old flange lasted much longer. Very disappointing for a name brand product like insinkerator, they should be ashamed to put their name on such a poor product. Had to revise my rating down to 1.

Update: even with a grate in the bottom of the sink, this flange has still gotten chipped and shows chrome through. Disappointing as it will take a plumber to replace.If you have a black sink, it looks so much better to use this one. Does the job.

Excellent flange. Goes well with the matte fixtures and hardware in the kitchen.
