Outdoor Flood Lights 2, RGBIC IP66, Wired 4 Pack

I picked these up mainly to add some lighting around the yard and honestly they’ve been a lot more fun than I expected. Installation was pretty straightforward, and once everything was plugged in the Govee app made it easy to control the lights and experiment with different colors and scenes. The brightness is impressive too. Each light is powerful enough to highlight trees, landscaping, or the house itself without looking washed out. I like that you can switch between colorful lighting for holidays or parties and normal white lighting for everyday use. These types of lights can put out around 1000 lumens each and give you a wide range of color temperatures, so they work well for both decoration and practical lighting. The scene modes are where these really shine. There are a bunch of presets, and the ability to customize colors makes it easy to match whatever vibe you’re going for Halloween, Christmas, or just lighting up the yard at night. Overall they’ve been a great addition outside and definitely make the house look a little more “put together” at night.

I love these lights! They mount easily whether you want them on the ground or elsewhere. I didn’t want to move them every time I mowed the grass so I zip tied them to a metal pole on my house. They are bright, sync to the app with no issue, and have endless color choices! Govee has a great warranty as well and excellent customer support and service! These are great for daily lighting and even better for holidays!

I bought the Govee Outdoor Flood Lights 2 to upgrade my backyard, and they honestly exceeded my expectations. Installation was super easy, and the build quality feels premium right out of the box. They’ve been through rain and heat with no issues, and they don’t overheat even after hours of use. Overall, if you want modern, powerful, and customizable outdoor lighting, these are absolutely worth it. They completely transformed the vibe of my space. Highly recommended!

Edit December 6, 2025: 1 week after the original review it has gone from 1 light out to 3 lights out. 3 out of 6. 50% of this has failed in 2 months. Absolute garbage that should get zero stars. I have multiple other Govee outdoor lighting products so I am quite familiar with them. I bought this to light up a new large Halloween display piece and like all the other products setting it up was pretty straight forward (adding it to each and every automation was a bit of a pain, but that is beside the point). Lighting was nice and bright if a little more "spread" than I expected. The reason for 2 stars though is that the lights ran nightly from October 7th until the day after Thanksgiving (the 28th) when one of them failed. Seriously, not even 2 full months and one of the lights dies. Unplugging and replugging did not reset it neither did "rebooting" the head unit. The light looks sealed with no moisture inside so this is not a water issue.

Govee LED outdoor lights rock. You pay more, but the quality app and controls are fantastic with no shortage of colors, themes, dimming controls and scheduling. These flood lights are ideal to highlight large trees, front of house etc. The 4 in a set are fine to cover a specific area. The controls are all integrated through the Govee app. We have ours on a a cool white/blue as default, but switch easily to holiday themes like Halloween, 4th of July, Christmas. The only reason for the 4 stars is that one of our sets stopped working after a month and needed a new controller. Make sure you use weather proof boxes for the electrical connections and controller.

SO BRIGHT AND WORK EXCELLENT

I've been using Govee products for several years now and they are great! Easy installation. Easy app setup. Endless color options! I previously had the first generation of these flood lights, and they held up decently. Slowly they started wearing down - either due to rain, the Texas heat, or both. I saw these pop up, and with getting some new landscaping, I knew this was the time to upgrade. The lights are bright (but dimmable) and provide really good spread. I've had these for a few months now and couldn't be happier!
