This product works great. The slight odor has come and gone over the years. I finally attempted to clean out the trap but ordered this at the same time. I installed and haven’t looked back,

Immediately solved the issue of our laundry room smell. I followed the recommendation of some other reviews and snapped off the magnetic flapper to push the hose further down and ensure the water could make it through.

If the washing machine drain lines backing up this device, stopped all my problems. Be working great.

Actually it's a lot bigger than the hose that my washer drains into, so it only goes about 2/3 of the way in and doesn't sit flush with the top. However, it does seal off the top of the drain and the washer drain hose fits tight inside of it. So I have no blowback and no sewer fumes coming back through.

Fits hole perfect, we did cut the bottom spout so our hose could go down farther. It sealed of the pipe hole perfect.

Seemed to be a good idea...but doesn't work with our plumbing. It causes too much pressure/air lock on our pipes which causes the adjacent laundry sink plumbing to leak all over the floor, so I eventually had to remove this.

This item does not work properly and can malfunction. I installed this seal according to the video instructions on amazon, and the hose still popped out of the seal during a water flow and flooded my laundry room. This happened twice and is clear that once there is pressure from water flow it can force the hose out of the seal. It felt very tight when I placed the hose into it but it still didn't hold. Now I have water damage in my laundry room.

We moved into a house with two washer hookups on separate floors and I needed this to close off on the one we will not use. I understand it’s actually made for sealing the space around the hose but it comes with a plug to close off the hole completely and it is perfect. It’s all flexible and fits perfectly! Great quality!
