Good quality
I have used this for my cats as a supplement in the hope it will help to keep them and their livers a little healthier. Both cats were happy to eat in their evening meals, so the taste must be fine. It smells fine too. The Pet Wellbeing brand is good quality, and this is reflected in the high price (currently around £58 for a 118ml bottle) so only the user can judge its value for money. Easy to administer using the dropper inside the bottle cap. It is hard to state its effectiveness, but I hope it does its job for my boys.

Our tortie prefers this brand
The vet recently gave us a liver supplement for our senior tortie, and our picky princess flatly refused to go near it. So we turned to Pet Wellbeing, who we already use for other supplements, and our girl has taken to it without issues. The taste is bacon, which she seems to enjoy; it's fat free, and has no nasty additives. Dosing instructions are clear, as are markings on the pipette. We had a question for Customer Service and they replied quickly with a lot of helpful information, so that's a plus too! Always good quality ingredients from this brand, and they really have been helping our senior stay in tiptop condition. Yes it's expensive but in our opinion, it's worth the money for a quality, beneficial supplement.

Seems to Work!
I've noticed my cat seemed to have lessened her eating / has a lower appetite as of late. I asked a vet about this and they mentioned liver strains and that milk thistle would be a good solution. I've added this to her food and result! Took about 2 weeks for my cat to start eating like how she used to. Very happy!

Liver supplement for cats from a reputable brand
I ordered this milk thistle for house cats as it seems to be beneficial to their health (liver function) and like most food supplements, is unlikely to do any harm. This is meant as a dietary supplement as our cats are healthy. The worse that can happen, according to what I have read on this before, is that they reject it in which case there is no point in insisting. The benefits will obviously be difficult to assess, in the short term anyway. This product arrived sealed wrapped in cellophane. It comes in a plastic dropper bottle with a graduated pipette which allows to dispense a small and precise amount. According to the manufacturer, milk thistle is the only ingredient and has been tested for impurities. I am quite confident that this is the case as it is from a reputable brand. So far, having administered a dose along with their food a few times, there has been no evidence of any adverse side effects. The milk thistle is flavoured (bacon flavour) and they seem to like it. The instructions to administer are clearly written on the bottle - note: dosage varies according to the weight of the cat. At £58.45 for 118 ml at the time of writing this review, it is pricey however what needs to be taken into consideration is that only a small amount is needed at a time, so it will last a long time.

this being liquid form is a huge benefit for this product
With 3 cats I was pleased to receive this through the Vine program to trial and review. As any cat owners will know trying to get your feline friends to take medication or supplements in tablet form, whole or crushed, can be a tiresome process. So this being liquid form is a huge benefit for this product. We have just applied the specified amount to cats wet food bowls and they eat the food and do not even notice any difference. Per photos with this review, the milk thistle liquid drops come in a plastic bottle which has a screw top with built in 1ml dropper as a lid. When first received the lid has plastic seal around which needs to be removed before first use. The dropper has measurements 0.25, 0.50, 0.75 and 1.0ml to help with being able to measure correct amount. Liquid is yellow in colour. Also the bottle I received has a very long BBE date of Sep 2029 (which is very good given the current selling price of £60 a bottle!).

Easy to administer
Giving this to my cat has been fairly straightforward. I use the dropper to add the recommended amount to her wet food once a day. She is a notoriously picky cat, but she eats her food with this mixed in without any hesitation, so the taste must be inoffensive to her. The dropper is marked, which makes getting the right dose easy. I’ve been using it as a general supplement to support her health as she gets older. I haven't seen any negative effects, and she seems her usual self. It's a very easy way to incorporate a supplement into her daily diet without causing her any stress.

Gentle Liver Support for My Cat
My vet recommended milk thistle for my older cat, so I tried this liquid blend. The dropper makes dosing simple—I just mix it into his wet food, and he eats it without noticing. After a few weeks, he seemed brighter and a bit more playful, which made me feel it’s doing some good. The formula smells mild and feels thoughtfully made. For an organic, vet-formulated supplement, the bottle lasts well and offers good value. It’s an easy way to give him a little extra support.

Helpful support for my elderly cat
Pet Wellbeing Milk Thistle for Cats - Organic Milk Thistle, Supports Healthy Liver Function & Detoxification - Vet-Formulated Herbal Supplement - 4 oz (118 ml)Pet Wellbeing Milk Thistle for Cats - Organic Milk Thistle, Supports Healthy Liver Function & Detoxification - Vet-Formulated Herbal Supplement - 4 oz (118 ml) I’ve been giving this milk thistle supplement to my elderly male cat to help support his liver, and it’s been easy to add into his routine. He actually seems to like the bacon flavour, which makes things much simpler, as he usually turns his nose up at anything new. It’s reassuring to know it’s organic and vet-formulated, and while I don’t expect miracles at his age, it feels good knowing I’m giving him a bit of extra support. The bottle is a generous size and will last a while. So far, it’s been a positive addition to his care.

Seems to really work!
This really seemed to work for our cat, as he returned more to normal after being diagnosed with liver disease. Highly recommended to try.

Great product, cats have to be tricked into eating it with a treat
. Milk thistle is something I like to use for liver support, and I was especially hopeful because this one includes a natural bacon flavor, which sounded like it might actually appeal to them. Unfortunately, my cats are not fans. Even when I mix it into their favorite wet food, they tend to avoid it. I was surprised, because I expected the flavoring to help, but it didn’t make much of a difference for my crew. I’ve had to get pretty creative to get them to even try it. The only method that’s worked for me so far is layering it. I’ll put the appropriate dose of the glycerite on a small portion of food first, then add about half a tube of Churu on top to mask the taste. After that, I crumble their favorite treats over it, usually freeze dried chicken breast or sometimes sprinkle in freeze dried green lipped mussels. Prepared this way, they’ll actually eat it. I’m going to keep trying because I do like the idea of this product and the benefits milk thistle can offer. That said, palatability has been a challenge in my household, and it definitely takes extra effort to make it work. Other cats might tolerate it better, but if you have picky eaters like I do, be prepared to get a little creative. Also, it is in a plastic bottle.

First Weight Loss, then Liver Problems Diagnosis, then a possible Solution!!!!!!!
Okay, our journey has started with Keyara, my cat having been diagnosed with liver problems!!!!!!! We had been just feeding her wet food as often as she seemed to want it!!!!!!! Fortunately after a while, can't remember if it was something like weeks or more months before I could not help but notice that Keyara decided she could eat some more dry food, rather than always begging at least 3-4 times during the day!!!!!! That's besides her 'dinner' and her 'dessert'!!!!!!! When I feed her, her dinner she also gets her Milk Thistle, on top of that I have been able to do Fish Oil with Omega {3, 6, 9, containing EPA, DHA and at least one or two other 3 letter ones like that!!!}!!!!!!!!! Since our journey has started, Keyara has been having more sponky, silly 😂🙄 kind of days!!!!!!!!!! Besides all of that one of her symptoms has been weight loss and not being able to see her being able to actually put one even a little more weight!!!!!!!!

Another good product from Pet WellBeing
I have used several supplements from Pet WellBeing in the past. The hardest part is that I cannot always tell if they are working. That can be hard to quantify, and often times I'm trying more than one thing to improve my cat's health, so there are too many variables at play to determine which ones are working. That all being said, what I can say is that my cat ingests this without any issues. I put a few drops in her canned food and she eats it right up. Anyone with cats knows how challenging it can be to get some cats to eat anything that is good for them or could benefit them, so this is a big deal. It comes with a dropper lid, so it's extremely easy to use. The instructions are clear and it's a simple supplement that isn't loaded with other ingredients. It says it has a bacon flavor (you'd never guess that from the scent), and my cat has no issues with it. I also like that it doesn't interact badly with other products and it's safe for my cat to use with her multiple ailments. Even though it has a high cost upfront, it's a good value when you see how far the product goes and how long it lasts. You need to remember you are only using a few drops at a time, not whole dropperfuls, so it's actually a reasonable price for what you get. Only time will tell if this is benefitting my cat, but I intend to keep using it as I have confidence in Pet WellBeing products.
