Bottom line: It's OK, but you'll probably be disappointed.Ito En makes some of the best commercial tea in Japan. I have to say that Royal Milk Tea (or the black tea variety of this) is actually one of my favorite drinks of all time, and I lament its lack of availability here in the United States.The Matcha Green Tea variety of the milk tea seemed to have so much promise then, combining my love of Green Tea and my love of Milk Tea. Alas there is a reason this does not appear to be a variety available in Japan. Green Tea is known for its subtle grassy flavor. There's a reason you don't put green tea with milk usually.Some Japanese drinks have gotten it right, but unfortunately Tea's Tea is not one of them. It tastes essentially like lightly sweet, green tea flavored milk.It's actually OK for me--a bit of caffeine, decently tasty and not terribly unhealthy. Just nothing to write home about.

I used to make my own iced matcha latte, but it was a hassle always forced to run to the store to carry a HEAVY gallon of milk every 1 to 2 weeks. Besides, my refrig is TINY and the milk would take up too much space. Buying this product is more convenient. I keep a couple of bottles cold in my refrig at a time and it's refreshing, healthy, and tasty as a fast pickup drink for a busy person like me.I have to agree that the matcha is watery and it would be a lot stronger if you went to a boba tea drink shop, but I usually drink much heavier matcha drinks when I'm outside and just the convenience of this product allows me to drink it when I'm stuck at home without access to a boba drink shop.

I did not know what to expect with this. It is very good tasting and is very lightly sweetened. The less sugar the better and real sugar only. It does not taste bitter at all, and is a joy to drink and goes down too quickly. I like the taste of green tea but this just tastes like a good drink. It is in plastic bottles and arrived intact; heavy, because it is liquid. I recommend this, will order more, and I hope this helps

The black tea is strong but is just mildly sweet. I would like it to be a bit sweeter. It makes a good breakfast drink as a refresher and healthier with less sugar. Worth to give it a try, but I am not going to get a new pack in the near future, since I ordered 3 cases already. It also comes in Matcha and milk, if you like green tea.

This is one of the better of the bottled teas with milk. It tastes very natural, can definitely tell it has tea in it and the milk tastes natural. No funny chemical tastes or aftertastes. Doesn't seem watered down or too strong, but very smooth and pleasant.

Love this great product! Green tea, turmeric and admittedly more sugar than I need, but it’s convenient as matcha takes time and energy to brew properly.This convenient, to go bottle of Happy is just what I need for a pick me up with 1/3 of the caffeine of coffee.Wish they made lightly sweetened.

Very well-balanced flavor.Advertised as a Black Tea Latte, this is a great milk tea.Good Ingredients, no artificial stuff.Only problem, this product is hard to get.....as I write this, it is out of stock again....!!Come on Amazon....re-stock it !!

It's wonderful when something that is good for you tastes great! I am enjoying my matcha green tea lattes. I almost didn't order this product because one reviewer said the tea latte was too sweet. I'm glad I took a chance and ordered the lattes anyway. They are definitely not too sweet. They are just right for my taste. I will be ordering more when I finish this case.
