It’s a beast !
This is a fantastic grinder. It’s been a joy to use. I make my own raw dog food blend of 5-8 different meat blended with raw vegetables and it makes it fast and easy. I also grind small bones (beef, lamb, chicken) and this handles them with no problem. I’ve had it for 6 months with no problems. ‘It’s easy to clean, disassembles quickly. There are no plastic parts to wear out and the stainless is good quality.I’ve run it continuously for 20 minutes with minimal heat build up.It is large and, if you’re petite, it’s heavy if you’re lifting it but can be managed with a little extra ‘muscle’.I store mine covered, in the corner of my counter under the overhang of a cabinet because I don’t always have any ‘extra muscle’ around when I need it. <:>)I think this big boy can handle most meat processing jobs you might have and it also comes with a sausage making attachment if you want to try that.I like this machine. Glad I spent the extra money and didn’t go with something cheaper.

Crushes through Chicken bones
I read a lot of reviews on this grinder before I made my purchase. Thanks everyone for your reviews; they were very helpful! This grinder is phenomenal! I bought this Grinder and the foot pedal (a must have in my opinion) to prepare raw dog food for my new pup. This grinder whizzed through a whole chicken, I had hacked into manageable bits for the hopper, in a matter of minutes. Very impressed with the quality of the hopper the auger and the three grinding plates that come standard with it. They are heavy gauge stainless steel. The tray at the front, bottom portion of the unit is very handy for storing the different grinder plates and tools that come with the grinder. I used the large die and the medium dye to grind the chicken. I would not recommend grinding whole chicken feet as the auger immediately jammed. The foot got wound around the auger and stuck in the neck of the hopper all at the same time. It came apart fairly easily and I was back in business in no time. A lesson learned. I continued with the chicken feet grinding but only after I chopped them into manageable bits. My dog has a 2-week supply of dog food, in less time than it took to shop for the ingredients, thanks to this grinder! As a retired fine dining chef I appreciate good quality kitchen appliances and this is definitely top-notch! For the money you cannot go wrong! Hope this helps. I didn't grind any meat without bones, but I can only imagine how fast it would dispatch a whole roast into nicely ground beef!

LEM grinder
This grinder is awesome. I bought for processing 2-3 deer during hunting and worked great for grinding. I honestly don't really like the stuffing side of this, but otherwise works nice

Absolute beast
I would recommend this lem big bite #32 to anyone that packages they’re own meat/ makes they’re own pet food! It worked amazing and is super fast for making your own hamburger, but I also make my own pet food which could be pretty hard on a meat grinder! This thing will chew up chicken bones as fast as you can throw them in there like it’s nothing. Keep noted that I make tons of dog food at once to store away. It really didn’t have any time to rest while I was doing it and still it didn’t get hot or even sound like it was wearing on the motor.Cleaning was easy as well for the most part. It’s never fun cleaning up stuff like this, but for all the money you save by packaging your own meat I would say it’s worth it.It’s also very well made. Everything seams sturdy and works as advertised and then some! I didn’t expect it to eat up bones so easy! It is pretty expensive but in the long run it will save me tons of money by packaging meat myself. It’s crazy how expensive processed food is compared to buying in bulk and doing it on your own!

High quality at a reasonable price.
Perfect grinder for medium sized batches, like 10 to 30lbs.

Quiet and powerful.
This is my second grinder, my first one was from another company and lasted about 6 years - I thought it was great, lots of power and was really loud. This LEM Big Bite #5 is blowing my mind. You can have a conversation over it while it's grinding. Before I would have to wear headphones and warn my neighbor I was going to be grinding meat (no joke) so he could close his back door. When I first turned it on I didn't think it switched on. It just works so well and much easier than my old grinder.- Super quiet.- Super powerful, processes chicken thighs with bone without any bogging.- Makes really great hamburger.- Grinding pan on top is large and very secure, you can load it with a lot of meat or vegetables.- Cleans up really quick and easy.My only negative feedback:- Fluid from the grind can make it's way backwards so it leaks out a little from where the grinder meats the motor.- I do wish there was a grind plate in between the small and medium included. I'm using this to make dog food and the smallest grind would be awesome for sausage, and the biggest grind lets too large of bone fragments through.I feel like this was entirely a good purchase and worth the money, I hope it lasts as long as my old one.
