OBD Saver for Audi, security device to lock the OBDII connector to help prevent keyless car theft

Purchased one for my mk3 tt after hearing about keyless theft's,was a bit difficult to fit first time(although reading the instruction's properly might have helped),once you work that out it's really quite easy.Solid bit of kit and the only way to get it off without the keys would be to smash it off,breaking the obd port in the process!.Would highly recommend.

Bought this for my Audi TT Mk3, can only reiterate the other reviewer, quite tricky to fit the location of OBD didn't help, but does fill very secure when fitted, the whole construction is made of metal, there isn't much else on the market to block the OBD, and thought this quite expensive, just have to remember to take it off for service!!

Too hard to fit

There is only so much you can do to protect your pride and joy from thieving scum these days. Manufacturers have succumbed to continual cries for features allowing us easy access to our cars. Thieves have welcomed this with open arms simply tapping into the car itself for the information they need. This little bit seems to throw a little spanner in the works for thieves.It is relatively small has a reasonable bit of weight to it so seems well enough made. It is very discreet and feels quite solid when fitted. Fitting is a bit of a fiddle to start with but is okay after a couple of practice times.So far I’m happy with my purchase it arrived very quickly. Couple of notes to the manufacturer, firstly a short video to prove how well the OBD saver holds up to being interfered with would provide more confidence. Secondly if the Allen key that is supplied could be more of a screwdriver type design it would really help with installation. Big thumbs up for spare screws though 👍👍

Live the concept though did think that once installed the obd port could be used with that end locking piece off not completely removing the item.Spent 47 minutes trying to connect it but failed. Pushed the pins fully forward but cannot turn them to pull them back up to align with 2 guides (where you screw the lock back too).Will have another go but this is a pointless exercise especially if it takes to reapply after it’s been in the garage.

Fits 2018 S4 Avant. Easier to install than I anticipated, clear instructions probably took 3 minutes. Not cheap but a solidly engineered and machined piece of kit, blocks access to the OBD port and would take some time and an open drivers door/ alarm going off to even try to remove. No wires cut so no manufacturer warranty issues. I would buy again.

Ordered for my Audi TT Mk 3 port under the steering wheel - a bit fiddly to fit but once on feels v secure. Thief will have to break the port to get it off which should cause quite a bit of delay and attention.A bit pricy for what it is but then worth the hassle of a theft claim...
