Well made, but ultimately useless.
Let be clear here, the product does, in fact, provide what it says. It is a well-made metal lens that provides 7X magnification. But there are some key problems: 1) No image stabilisation. This pretty much mean if you're attaching this to ANY zoom lens, you're not going to get a decent image handheld. You will NEED a tripod, or a stand. A phone gimbal will almost certainly not work due to the weight of the lens (it is, as I said, well made), and the awkward centre of gravity it creates. 2) Image fringing. If you manage to get a stable shot, you're now faced by image quality problems: dull, bland colours, and image fringing along the edges of the image. Now, if you're not intending on using this handheld, and are fine on a tripod, then this might be fine. It's worth trying, because again, the thing IS well made. But for my use it's basically useless.

Disappointed
I had high hopes. With a 200MP sensor with a 7X telephoto lens on my Samsung S24 ultra, I thought I could take shots of distant objects, then crop to show detail while retaining sufficient pixels to make a good picture. Apparently not, as no doubt experienced photographers would have told me. Experimenting with the same photo of a test card under identical setup (lighting, tripod, remote shutter, mounted with the 17mm screw not the clip, etc) showed the overall picture quality was slightly better with the LS-36 when using Pro mode, but only slightly better than using the phone's default settings at 50X zoom. See attached photos. The first photo is with the LS-36 in pro mode -better exposure as more control this is 16MP. Second is normal photo mode at 50X zoom, and is 7MP. The photos are of an A4 size test card, so the text on the scales is about 3mm high. The card is 14 metres from the camera. LS-36 is very well engineered but I can't see when I would use it so am returning it.

Good idea but doesn’t work
Great concept, feels quality in the hand, but in practice it just doesn’t work when fully zoomed in. You get a blur of sorts in the top right corner of the image, and this is when using the additional cage for the iPhone 16 pro max, which costs an extra £50 on top of the £95 for the lens. I’m pretty annoyed as I bought the lens and cage for a holiday in 2 days!

Maybe you can get it aligned - I couldn’t
Couldn’t get attached to phone correctly. Giving the benefit if the doubt with 2 star as great idea but fit could be me

Very disappointed - badly designed
I purchased the 'LS-36 PRO' telephoto lens, compatible with iPhone. It sadly did not meet expectations, with too many issues. Most annoyingly, the lens is very heavy, made from quite solid metal. It clips on to the phone, but keeps sliding off the iPhone camera lens due to the heavy weight, combined with the 'gloss' of pressing agains the iPhone lens protector and the iPhone screen. The clip comes with a screw, which you have to tighten if you want any hope of it holding in place. However, the clip presses very firmly against the screen of my phone, to the extent that I am afraid of damaging or cracking the screen - it needs to be VERY tight to remotely hold in place. You need to awkwardly hold the heavy lens in place with your fingers while holding the phone and attempting to take photos. Other issues - the lens comes in a protective hard case which does not have space for the lens clip (which is essential for taking photos), so I have to store this separately and hope it doesn't get dust on it, which could easily get onto the lease. Also, the range of the lens is only good for about 10-20 meters - MUCH shorter than I hoped. It's not good for photographing birds, as I have found. I can't get the 'focus' feature to work, it just seems to let more light in and make it over-exposed. It's also hard to get the phone to 'lock on' to the telephoto lens, as it keeps wanting to switch to one of the other cameras. I have to keep setting it to 0.5 and then back to 1x zoom. Very annoying. The positives - it is OK for photos within about 10-20 meters of static subjects (not moving), as it is super annoying holding the lens in place while trying to photo anything moving. The photos do have a nice 'glow' and 'bokeh' effect with a blurred background, but this is far less (and different) to what I wanted, especially for the price. It would be much better If the camera had a bracket which clipped on to either side of the iPhone, making it much steadier to align the lens. Having it clip on tightly to the iPhone screen is a major design flaw.

Unscharf, nicht durchdacht, Schrott
Totaler Schrott - Finger weg! 1. Im gesamten Einstellbereich keine scharfe Position! 2.

Returning it
the lens seem to in good build, however it’s too heavy and long, hard to keep on phone, I was afraid I will break my phone screen at one point, unusable.
