Great device!
This is such a good robot vacuum, I've been using it for a couple of weeks so far and it has work really well. It does have a strong suction podwer, cleans really well and mops well enough too. Setting it up was really easy, I only needed to get all the parts out of the box and follow the instructions provided in the box( clear and concise). The only thing I'm not pleased with is the amount of noise it makes, a little too noisy for me but it doesn't bothers me as much as it would annoy others so keep that in mind if you're a noise sensitive person though you could probably set it to the lowest suction setting. Device has self empty which I absolutely love and works pretty well, easy to clean and remove debris. Initial mapping worked like described but I advise you to remove everything that could be a temporary obstacle to your device so that the mapping is completely succesful. Price is a little too high compared to other brands I've seen around so I would probably advise waiting for a good deal like Black Friday to get yours at a great price.

Super Good Vaccum
I absolutely love this vacuum. We bought this after having a roomba for many many years. That vacuum died, so we needed a new one. I went this route because the reviews seemed good. The shark keeps my floors looking MUCH cleaner than my previous vacuum. With having two kids, I don't have a lot of extra time. Luckily I don't have to worry about cleaning my floors often since this vacuum takes care of that for me! It isn't super loud and it seems to navigate my home well.

Horrible. This Modle is a POS
Update: 10/10/2023 - I called Shark customer service and explained to them the issues I have had with this model, as I'm on the third one of these. They made me go through trouble shooting which means they make you allow them to watch you clean out the entire unit by taking it all apart, put it back together, turn it on and off, have it run and have it dock. I tired to explain that I have to do this every time after it runs once around the house in order for it to run again on the schedule set time the next day other wise I get the error that my dust cap is missing when it's not. I also consistently get the error message that "it's too close to a cliff" and I live in a one story house so it has no access to my basement stairs, so there is no "cliff" it should be detecting. I also randomly will get the error message the wheel is stuck and when I find it, it is in a corner that it should be able to get out easily, could be any corner. I have 18 error messages from 9/12/23 to 10/09/23 (screen shots of my notification log on the shark app). That's 18 days it could not run out of 27 days. That's not to mention that half the time it cannot dock itself properly (video of that) and it also will give me an error when it docs and there is any sort of debris from the day befores run in the empty cannister attached to the doc, that I need to clean out my dust bin and my doc AKA empting cannister (video of that). Id also like to point out I took this video right after getting off customer service who could only offer me 30% off the exact same model because I have had it over a year and it worked while on video call with them even though they did witness that it could not doc it's self twice out of the three times we tried. Because it worked once there is nothing more they can do for me because I didn't buy the extended warranty even though I am on replacement #2 in less than two years. I will be updating this review and any other place I can put a review until Shark decides to stand by their product and give me a model that actually works. 10/09/2023 - I hate this vaccum. I have had it for two years now and am on the the 2nd replacement so I'm on my third one of these. Issues from the beginning. One, it doesn't alway self empty and I have to empty it myself mind you, I've gotten a replacement of the empty canister and it still doesn't work properly. If I wanted to empty it myself I would have bought the cheaper ones that don't self empty. I get an error message about every other day saying it can't run because it's dust cap is missing and I have to keep putting the cap on and off for it to register it's on. If there is the tiniest bit of hair around the end of the roller it gives out another error. Basically I have to play around with it every few days to make it run on it's scheduled time for maybe two days tops before I have to monkey around with it again. This Modle is a POS. Huge waste of money. Spent $560 on this thing you think it should work more then a couple days a week.

App sucks
App doesn't have mapping. I know this model doesn't have lidar but many reviews say the app has a map. The vacuum itself works great. The app is pretty simple and easy to use. I've been unable to reset it though.

Worth it
More it is used the smarter it gets. We bought it because at the time we had 1 Mama cat & 5 3 month old kittens so we needed something better than our upright vac when it came to vacuuming up fine cat hairs and cat litter. Im happy to say it does vacuum up both as well as fluffs up carpet that’s in our master bedroom that was put down over 20 (+) years ago when my parents owned the house. The suction power is amazing. Has two levels of suction power as well. You use the app on your phone to start it up to map your house, to choose which room you want it to vacuum as well as set up time frames to when you want it to vacuum aka scheduling. Can use the app on your phone to send it back to dock. When the battery low it will dock, empty into the docking station, and recharge fully and then get back at it. As I said when it docks at the charging station whatever it has sucked up it will empty out into the docking station bin. The app will tell you when you need to empty the bin at the dock to which I just keep an eye on it and the app will tell you when it is has gotten between something and cannot get itself out or if the battery on the vacuum canister is low and needs to be put on the dock to charge up. For example we did not get back home till around 7 pm last night while we were in Mobile (we live in Lucedale) when I got a message across my phone (at 5:00 pm) telling me that the battery is low and the canister is stuck and needs to be put on the docking station. When we walked in the house it was hung between the wall and our exercise bike (because it had literally vacuumed itself over the left back leg) and could not get itself off. [And yes I got several alerts 😂]. So needless to say when we walked in the house and I found it, it was dead; but as soon as I put it on the dock what it vacuumed up got emptied out. Even took it to our daughter’s home to let her see how well it does because she had purchased 4 or 5 and sent them back for one main reason — she has a black rug that lies under her bed and each robot vacuum she purchased could not go over the rug. Took ours plugged it in and of course mapped her house as it cleaned. Got to the black rug in her master bedroom not only did it vacuumed it but had no issues with getting on it from the floor. Yep she was impressed by it and yep she will be getting her one. With saying that my parents closed in their carport which was a junk collect all room, to which we made it into my hubby’s “Man Cave” with that said there is a one inch lip that this vacuum has no issue with going over and down the right side of the ramp that my dad put instead of leaving a step up from the use to be carport. Indoor multi-plug-in cords — it will push them so you will need to pick up. We have several cat beds a cat tunnel and yes a bean bag. It will push them around till it can either go under it or go around it. I just pick them up. Rugs that are very light pick up because it will eat them up. I hope I have answer your questions. If not ask and I will answer hopefully.

I have received the Shark ION Robit Vacuum and I am totally shocked to see that it is equipped with a 110-120 V AC power adapter. But in UAE we only use 220 -240 V AC. Two things to raise a flag for: 1- Nothing anywhere in the product description says that it will come with a 110-120 V AC power adapter. 2- More than 20 years back, everyone in the world is making only switching power adapters that can handle both 110-120 and 220-240 VAC. So what shall I do now, perhaps throw it in the garbage....

Does an amazing job

On the description doesn’t say that the charger is 120v and that is for United States use only. Total misleading

I am SO impressed with this little robo vacuum! I did a lot of research before purchasing as we have a dog who sheds a lot, and this truly does live up to the reviews. We have carpeted floor and it's able to pull a lot of the hair out of the carpet. If you run it once a day or every other day with a shedding dog, you will be in good shape. It mapped our entire floor perfectly in the first run. I was blown away. The technology has come so far! The app is clean and intuitive. It also makes setting up the Shark very easy. After it is finished mapping, you can add labels to each room, and schedule it to run at certain times, and in the rooms that you choose. If it gets full while it's doing the cleaning session, it will find its way back to the docking station, empty the dust and dirt, and then go back to wherever it left off. The only downside is that it can only map one floor in your house. If you're in a two story house, you can still use it on other floors by moving it to the floor you want to clean, and pressing the "clean" button on top of the vacuum, but you won't be able to do this from the app. It is fairly quiet, and has a low profile. It's able to sneak under beds and tight to reach places very well. Battery life seems great and no concerns there. The docking station is small enough that it isn't an eyesore. It comes with a nice little mat that the robot drives onto. When the robot docks itself, empties into the docking reservoir after a few seconds. This part is fairly loud, but only lasts a few seconds. For the money, you truly can't beat this powerful little robot!
