I've been using this L'Oreal Glossing Lamination Hair Mask for a few weeks now, and I'm genuinely impressed with the results—especially considering the price point. This product absolutely delivers on its main promise: SHINE. My hair looks noticeably glossier and shinier after using it, and the best part is that the shine actually lasts. The product claims up to 5 days of shine, and I can confirm it holds up to that claim without issue. Even after several days, including a wash day, my hair still has that healthy-looking gleam. The anti-aging effect is real, too. The shine and smoothness genuinely make me look younger—my hair doesn't have that dull, tired appearance anymore. For the price, the performance is excellent. You're getting salon-like shine without the salon price tag. Here's where I have to be honest: while my hair looks healthier, I'm not entirely convinced it actually is healthier. It seems like more of a cosmetic effect—the mask makes my hair appear smooth and nourished, but I'm skeptical about whether there's any real repair happening underneath. Think of it like makeup for your hair: it looks great, but the underlying condition might not have changed much. I have dry, frizzy hair and it doesn't seem to help my hair moisture level or tame the frizz (I still need to use other products for that). To be fair, though, this product claims to give you shiny, glossy hair. It does not claim to improve the actual health of your hair. If you're looking for visible results and don't mind that it's more about appearance than actual hair health, this is a solid buy. It does exactly what it says on the bottle, the price-to-performance ratio is fantastic, and that lasting shine is worth it for the confidence boost alone.

I love the scent of this stuff, it really smells like I'm taking care of myself and pampering myself without going overboard. I have fine, wavy brown hair, and this makes it so shiny that it brings out a tinge of red in my hair, and I've never found a product that makes it feel smoother than this. I regret cutting my hair because now I don't have an excuse to use this anymore.

This makes your hair so soft and smooth. Wish it came with more but you definitely get your moneys worth what this product offers. You can see and feel results after 1 use which is awesome.

As a middle-aged woman with fine, straight, blonde color-treated hair, I bought this hair mask with hope in my heart and unrealistic expectations in my soul. For context- I have a LOT of fine hair and plenty of flyaways. I wanted smooth, shiny, effortlessly expensive-looking hair. The kind of hair that says, “I drink enough water and have my life together.” I followed the directions exactly and left it on for 10 minutes before rinsing. The good news? It absolutely adds shine. My hair looked noticeably brighter after using it, and the shine lasted a few days. I also liked the scent, which is saying something because I’m VERY sensitive to fragrances. It smells clean without smelling like you got trapped inside a perfume counter. Now for the bad news. Around the fourth use, my hair started feeling like straw. Not “a little dry”, more like “scarecrow chic.” It felt stiff both wet & dry, and no amount of deep conditioner seemed to fully undo it. It also did absolutely nothing for my flyaways, which continued floating around my head like I’d been slightly electrocuted. Oddly enough, it DID make my fine hair feel thicker. Unfortunately, that’s mostly because straw is thicker than silk. I kept trying to convince myself it was working because the shine was nice, but eventually I had to accept that my hair was beginning to feel less “luxury gloss treatment” and more “overprocessed craft store raffia.” Overall, I’d give this 3 stars because the shine and scent are genuinely good, and I could see this working better for other hair types. But for my fine, color-treated hair, the trade-off between shine and texture just wasn’t worth it. The hunt to find the magical mask continues.

I absolutely love this product. I started using this before prom so I’d have shiny hair, and i’d say my hair is slightly shinier but my hair feels so much healthier. My hair feels so nice and smooth when I apply this in the shower. And make my hair feel good after drying.

I was impressed with how soft my hair felt after using this mask. It only takes a few minutes, and my hair looked smoother and shinier afterward. I also appreciate that it’s sulfate-free and works well on color-treated hair.
