Midea 3.5 Cu.ft Chest Freezer, Fridge Freezer Convertible with LED Light

This is the perfect size for a freezer that can also be used at refrigerator temperature. I have the setting one notch about the centre of "Freeze". Frozen food is rock-solid. Operation is quiet. The fit and finish on this freezer is absolutely at the top of what any customer would want or expect. Let sit for a few hours before plugging in and it will last a very long time. Interior light is handy and bright. Vent is on right side, so leave a space on right of unit. Very happy with this purchase. What a relief not to have to stuff food packages in the smaller freezer at the top of my fridge. Now I can use both.

So happy I got this it allows me to order more food and no I have room to keep it good and fresh. The size is wonderful the ease of use is great. It's extremely reliable thus far and the value for the money is wonderful. I have had no issues with frost retention which I am very grateful for.

Im giving it a one star review because ups delivered it and did a horrible job at that put it upside down on my porch and was missing bottom foam piece for packaging and all 44 corners had dents other then that the unit its self works great

The bottom corner had a dent. I called Amazon and within 2 days they put ck d th freezer up and replaced f it with a new freezer. I’m so happy with the freezer it’s the perfect size for my needs. No noise low frost.

Just received it today. So far I love it.This is only the 1st day though.The light in the lid sold me & all the other great reviews.Just purchased a new fridge & the freezer is smaller than I like for the 2 of us. So this looks like the best solution.I was afraid it would be too low to the ground & I would need to put it on a stand,I'm 5'8", but It's the same height as a regular freezer. Just not as wide.Delivery wasn't great. UPS driver marked delivery as possible damage. It was stored upside down on the truck. No cover on bottom of box & had some indentations on the base with a footprint.a couple of corner have small dents,but it should be ok in the basement.It's early yet,but I put a small container of water with a lid & it froze in about 2 hours.Packing could be better, Not sure if they don't put a bottom on the box.or if it was missing.

My standard refrigerator/freezer just wasn’t large enough to hold more than a few days’ worth of frozen food. I also couldn’t take advantage of warehouse food clubs because I had nowhere to store anything bought in bulk.After doing a lot of research, I decided on this Midea freezer. I had never heard of the brand before, but the online reviews were very positive—and now I understand why.I’m extremely happy with this freezer. It holds far more food than I expected, and it gets seriously cold! My only complaint is that it doesn’t have a temperature display, so I purchased a Mocreo wireless temperature monitor here on Amazon. At the coldest setting, the freezer reached an incredible **-16.9°F**. Holy cow—that is cold!

So far, the freezer is working as expected. As many others reported, there are damaged areas, probably during handling and delivery. So far it looks like not a major issue for the freezer to work. Also, it is missing some of the footing screws, so it is unbalanced.
