Does not last - DO NOT BUY
We had this chain for 7 months when it first started to discolor. It didn't do so evenly; a coating began flaking off in chunks, eventually wearing off on all the surfaces it touched skin. It went from shiny to dull and tarnished. I've purchased many silver chains, but I've never seen one do this. Save your money and don't purchase this. There are plenty of better options out there.
