This tape is perfect for use on upholstered furniture to deter cats from using as a scratching post. It has saved my sofa and chair. Cats don't like the texture of the tape. It is double-sided, and the 2" width works well for this purpose. I leave a couple of inches between strips. It sticks enough to hold, and it doesn't appear to hurt the upholstery. Recommended by a cat expert for deterence

I bought this Removable Clear Double-Sided Sticky Tape to make my own sticky notes for Bible study. It really is removable—just as described! I bought this for woodworking. I only used it once so far, to hold a piece of PVC lattice to wood (2 x 4 pine), to use as a temporary fence for a hand-held router. I only used 2 pieces of tape, each about 2 inches long, at each end of the fence which was about a foot and a half long. The pieces held tightly and then I was able to pull them apart easily. When I pulled the pieces apart, the tape stayed on the PVC rather than the wood (if that's of any interest). I was then able to remove it from the PVC without any trouble. I cannot say whether the tape would have pulled any fibers from a better quality wood, but I doubt it because it does not seem to be excessively sticky -- just sticky enough to hold the pieces together. My only criticism is that the tape is clear so it can be hard to see when you want to remove it. However, most other brands I saw on the internet also seem to be clear. In short, I think this is an adequate tape for woodworking. It's certainly much better than some double sided tape I previously had bought at Home Depot, which was too sticky for woodworking.

It works very well and provides a moderately strong hold. I used it to hold small wooden rails on a night stand and it works well. Considering the amount of tape they send you, I don't believe that I, my kids, neighbors, cousins etc. will EVER run out, lol.

It's a good value, easy to apply, but both sides are kind of moderately sticky at best. I've had several things I stuck up with this tape, on clean surfaces, just come plopping down to the floor randomly. I used it to tape up some insulating panels inside my garage door, but I usually have to stick a couple of them back in if I ever open the door. You get a decent amount, and it works pretty well for light duty, but doesn't last long and I just wish it were about 40% stickier than it is.

This is what i use for holding wood to my CNC. It is better than other double sided tapes in that when you pop the part off of the CNC it doesn't leave any glue residue either on the board or the CNC. I started using this vs the blue tape and cy glue as the blue tape was getting very expensive.

Sticks well and remove easily with no residue. Perfect!

this tape is used to keep in place acrylic sheet on my CNC table and work well (not too hard to remove less to broke my 3mm sheet and my spoilboard still clean)..

I used this to put on wallpaper in a rental property so I could remove it when I leave. Worked very well.

Not strong enough to hold foam poster.

I would not recommend this for anyone who wants to hang anything heavier than a poster on the wall. I bought this so I can stick sound proof foam on my walls but it all fell down after a few minutes of hanging. I cannot return this item as it does not give me that option.
