Angelus Leather Dye, Honey, 3 Ounce Bottle (500-03-094)

Well, I managed to stain my hands, the kitchen counter, the microwave, and the backsplash. How, you ask? The screw-on cap arrived very tight, and in my struggle to open the bottle I managed to fling product EVERYWHERE. It is a very thin consistency - an actual liquid. I guess I was expecting something thicker?Anyhoo, it is strong stuff. The "honey" color that I purchased was not, in fact, honest colored and the shoes that I was attempting to dye a light brown are now almost black. : / Essentially, I ruined the shoes.This product was not what I was hoping for... it doesn't mean the product is bad, I just managed to make a bad sitaution worse.

Make sure you know that this product is not returnable. Color I ordered was darker than item to be repaired and because I did not read the full Amazon return policy I cannot return for a different color. I did use a color chart from their site but of course computer screens often do not reflect real colors. Just make sure you are good with a color that may not match before you order.

Using for guitar repair to match antiqued maple fingerboards and necks. Works very well as a wood stain.
