Great gloves!
Great gloves. The leather is stiff at first but after a touch of leather crème they mould to the shape of your hand with use. Only 4-star as I haven’t used them for full on rope work yet.

The quality is top notch. No half hitch in recommending these. Tight fit, size wise.

Last a lifetime
Fit really well, heavy duty without being awkward to use and look really cool too! These will literally last a lifetime and probably improve with age.

Choose wisely
Size wasn’t as advertised (ordered the same size previously ) Black version of previous purchase but quality not the same .

Buy a size up from what you think you need.
Use these for daily graft, essentially manual labour. Normally my work gloves wear out within a few weeks, even expensive ones. these are still going after a couple of months. They kinda lose traction a bit after a few months of continual use, they kinda go a bit smooth and shiney on the palms and fingers. The yellow colour discolours fast and goes black pretty fast on the palms and fingers, doesn't matter or seem to effect them though.

Excellant belay gloves
Good thick gloves that are supple from the start. They offer good protection to the hands when belaying and you can tie people on whilst still wearing them.

Il guanto definitivo per l'outdoor 'pesante'
Avevo un'esigenza particolare: dei guanti robusti ma comodi, da utilizzare per le attività pesanti all'aperto. I Mechanix sono comodissimi ma anche leggeri, in parte in fibra sintetica; I guanti da lavoro in pelle che si acquistano nei negozi di bricolage non sono molto ergonomici. I PETZL sono invece molto ergonomici, molto robusti e di pelle. Questo si traduce in una migliore e più sicura presa quando si va a spaccare legna, a gestire una corda, a trasportare un tronco. Vuol dire che essendo di pelle puoi gestire un fuoco senza temi per le scintille. I rinforzi sulla parte interna degli indici sono un ulteriore promessa di resistenza all'abrasione. Essendo spessi e robusti richiedono un poco di tempo per essere 'rodati' e prendere le forme della mano. Richiederanno in futuro una manutenzione attraverso creme nutrienti dedicate. Il peso li rende discretamente caldi anche d'inverno ma non eccessivi permettendone quindi anche un'uso estivo. Promossi!

Festigkeit, Verarbeitung top, eine wichtige Einschränkung
Richtig gute Schutzhandschuhe für harte Arbeit im Klettersteig. Material und Verabeitung sehr gut. Finger für mich etwas zu lang, kein Problem: Handschuhfinger oben abschneiden. Echtes Problem: die Innenflächen der Handschuhe sind an der Oberfläche so glatt, dass am Draht, am Seil und am Fels keine Reibung beim Zugreifen zustande kommt. Halte ich für sehr gefährlich. Gehe jetzt mit einer Raspel daran, ansonsten kommen sie weg. Würde ich nicht nochmal kaufen, sondern nur solche mit Wildleder in der Innenfläche.
