Much faster readings compared to the original Aranet Wave, the e-ink screen is comfortable to look at and power efficient yet very capable. Pairing with the Aranet app via bluetooth is simple and easy, simply enter the app, tap the device and the screen will show a pairing code. Data loads quickly and the graphs are simple and easy to use. Supports data ingest into Home Assistant for custom ApexCharts cards like the one in the photo. Data is broadcast every 5 minutes. With the Aranet integration and a Bluetooth capable HomeAssistant node it detected the readings once "Smart Home Integration" was enabled in the Aranet app. Overall good value relative to the other radon detectors on the market and SAF makes a tidy, simple app. Note there is no cloud sync for this data, but the data stays on the phone it is synced with.

The battery is lasting and Long time. Place it in the basement, then read it by Bluetooth. The app also works well.

It's not something you wish you needed to buy but it's a great product for sure. super easy to work with. great display, and I love that it sends the info to your phone. the app is very nice as well. connected without any hiccups and seemed very accurate. In this house, Safety is important so having this information was very helpful.

I have no idea how accurate this thing is, but it at least lets me keep track of trends in my basement. Setting it up was a breeze, and being able to view history on my phone is handy. Now I just have to decide whether to do something about remediation, or just watch the numbers go up and down as they are.

We’ve been concerned about the potential for high levels of radon in our basement. One of our neighbors told us his radon levels were reading well over 4.0 so he had to install an exhaust system. That led me to buy a test kit and send it in. I wanted something for continuous monitoring so I bought this. Not only is it very accurate, it’s wonderful to be able to track the history in the mobile app! Plus, the e-Ink display is genius. It’s very easy to read and requires very little battery power. I haven’t changed the batteries at all since I first set it up a few months ago. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! One thing I learned is that the radon levels can be substantially higher than normal after rain or when the ground freezes. Radon is a gas and tries to find its way out. If the ground is wet or hard (or both), it has no where to go. Normal level in my basement is roughly 1.5 though this graph shows a bit higher - we’ve had a LOT of rain recently.

I have a radon mitigation system in my house that was installed before I moved in. Initially, I didn’t fully understand its purpose or necessity. To learn more, I purchased this device to monitor radon levels, and it has been working great. I’ve integrated it with Home Assistant to track radon levels and receive notifications if they reach a high threshold. However, similar functionality could likely be achieved using the device’s app. The device connects via Bluetooth, and since I keep it in the basement, I initially experienced occasional communication failures. To resolve this, I set up Bluetooth proxies throughout my house, which eliminated connectivity issues. It would be nice if this device could connect to wifi and not just bluetooth. I plan to experiment by temporarily turning off the mitigation system to observe how radon levels fluctuate and determine if the mitigation system needs to operate 24/7.

Best on the market in terms, smart function, and styling. Aranet quality. Will last for a long time.
