Love this hair color, looks SO natural. I have greys to color, and it lasts a good amount of time, I just color all of it 2 or 3 times a year...Just touch up roots every 3 weeks.

My mom has tried different hair dyes over the years, but this one from L’Oreal Paris Excellence Creme is her favorite. The shade 1 Black gives her rich, even color that looks natural and vibrant. Most importantly, it covers her grays completely and lasts for weeks without fading. She says it works better than the ones she’s picked up at Walmart before, and she really notices the difference in quality. The included conditioner leaves her hair soft and shiny, not dry like some other brands. Overall, this is a reliable, salon-quality dye that delivers exactly what it promises. My mom is very happy with it and gives it a full 5 stars.

Work very well, easy to use, instructions are clear, lasts long even for someone who washes their hair every other day. Definitely worth it. I am originally a light brown and the photos show the dye process which I did on October 16th and the most last photo is from November 5th so it has good longevity.

it makes me crazy on amazon when there are reviews not for the featured product but any product in the same line. i am writing a review for the black #1 dye, l'oreal excellence. i am asian and have black hair. i am prob 50-60 gray on top. my hair grows rapidly and so i have to dye my hair every three weeks. i am always looking for a product that doesn't damage my hair, doesn't fade, washes well and gets good gray coverage. gray hair in someone with natural black hair is very, very hard to dye and maintain. my gray takes any dye well but for me the hallmark is the sides by my temples and ears. i used this for the first time. normally do 45 minutes. only did 35 minutes and it came out perfectly. even my temple hair was covered which has not happened with other hair dyes. this will be my go to hair dye. great for natural black hair with lots of gray.

The Bottle is oddly shaped..makes it difficult to hold while using on application ! But I loved the feel and color I went with black . Left my hair shiny and soft !
