Siete Grain Free Tortilla Chips, Nacho, 5 oz

I learned about these from a nutritionist. They are healthy and taste great. The Nacho is my favorite flavor.

I was excited to try these, because I’m largely plant based for ethical and health reasons. Dairy causes me a lot of problems, so I avoid it like the plague. But like most people, I enjoy the taste of cheese. Since these are vegan nacho cheese, I took a gamble and purchased.Immediately after opening, my wife and I noticed only a quarter of the bag was filled. The rest of the bag was air. And while I understand air is needed to protect the chips from breaking, the amount of chips to bag size ratio clearly indicates greed.Concerning the flavor, the vegan nacho cheese is good. However, that’s undermined by the fact there isn’t a lot of nacho cheese on the chips. What bothers the most: the amount of citric acid used to flavor the chips. My teeth started to hurt only after consuming a few chips, and I immediately suspected lime juice or citric acid. And I was correct: there is citric acid in the ingredients listing. And a lot of it!The problem with the amount of citric acid used: it is overpowering. It’s simply too much acid. And it is also very bad for your teeth’s enamel. If you have sensitive teeth, avoid these like the plague. They will result in cavities for children (and adults) if consumed regularly.The texture is great. Nice light crunch.Overall, the lack of chips, too much empty space in the bag, company greed, lack of vegan nacho cheese powder, and the use of too much citric acid will prevent me from buying these again.Verdict: AVOID

From the moment I tried these they have been my all time favorite chip. You do not even need dip they are so good. Dip definitely enhances the chip; the chip is tasty. Finding a GOOD gluten free bag of chips seems to be difficult, but finally Siete exists. Best flavor.

While I do enjoy these, I don't really get a 'nacho' flavor from them. For some odd reason, the flavor comes across as tomato-ish? They kind of remind me of lays ketchup chips, just less sweet. The texture isn't crispy necessarily but there is a crunch to the bite! The ingredients are great if you're looking for a healthier alternative to normal chips, just wish there would be more of a nacho flavor. I wouldn't repurchase this flavor again, but I would definitely give their other chips a try.Overall a nice chip, but not my favorite.

Taste amazing, nice size, sooooo many healthy ingredients (very rare in flavor chips these days) one simple phrase "I love this product!"
