OXO Good Grips SimplyTear Paper Towel Holder Countertop for Kitchen

this is one of those boring household purchases that you don’t expect to have strong feelings about and yet here we are 💀 first of all, this thing is HEAVY. way more substantial than i expected, but that’s exactly why it works so well. i can genuinely grab and tear off one paper towel with one hand and the base doesn’t move AT ALL. the little tension arm is also just right. i’ve tried it with a brand new full roll and all the way down to an almost empty one and it still tears perfectly. weirdly satisfying every single time lol. switching out the roll is slightly more fiddly than i expected, but that’s genuinely the only complaint i could come up with. it stays put, hasn’t scratched my counter, and looks simple and clean enough to leave out. 5 stars for making paper towels unnecessarily satisfying 💗

This works exactly as described. I can easily tear a sheet. It holds the roll steady and keeps the sheets from flying all over the place. I read some reviews where people mentioned you have to get the hang of tearing a sheet. That hasn't been my experience at all. I just dropped the roll on and immediately started tearing the sheets off. I don't have to do anything except pull and tear. I am so happy I bought this. I was so tired of my old one. This has already saved me from so much frustration. It's great!

I like this more than I thought I would. It looks sleek and I appreciate the arm that holds the towels in place. It does take two hands and a bit of effort to change the roll though. It doesn’t just drop on, so that could be an issue for an elderly person or someone with hand problems.

This is a great paper towel holder. It really does hold the paper for you to make it easier to rip off a sheet or two of paper towels. I was really surprised at how convenient it is. I would definitely buy it again if something happened to it because I really love how easy it is to use. Also you tend to need a paper towel when your hands are full and this just makes that process ten times easier. I can’t believe I just purchased this recently. I certainly would have loved to have it years ago.

Finally I have a paper towel holder that won’t fall off the counter. Nice weight and very sturdy. Easy to use and looks nice on the counter.

OXO products are fabulous! Yes, it costs a bit more but it is SO much better! I do not miss the frustrating tug of war when a new roll is opened nor do I miss the wasted paper towels when so much extra comes off at the end of a roll. This one gives just the right amount every time! There is even a knob at the top you can grab to quickly move the roll. Love it!

excellent paper towel holder... towels don't unwind and spill all over, you can pull out and rip off a single towel with one hand if you're just a little bit careful. Works great on the kitchen island, and works great in the RV (I got two of them for this)

This one is the best paper towel holder. I tried many other but this product is sturdy
