First off, I would like to shout out whoever made the directions for this item because they were funny, easy to read, and very informative. Secondly, everything you need to apply this item to your window/door is in the roll of film (check inside the tube). Thirdly, this product was very easy to apply and works just as described. There is less light coming in through the door I applied it to, I have more privacy and do not need to worry about someone peeking in, and it lasts a long time. I definitely recommend this product over anything else on the market!

Really easy to apply and works great!
I had my kitchen remodeled and had upper window cabinets installed. I don't want anything in them but didn't want to be able to see inside them either (you could see the hinges and back which I didn't like). I used this film to frost the glass and it turned out great. Honestly, no one but me knows the difference because you can't tell it's there excepty you can't see inside anymore. Just what I wanted. Installation was easy: Use A LOT of water - spray the glass and the film. I used a full-size sprayer. That little bottle they include is a nice touch but, well, sort of useless. I filled a bottle with water, put 1/8 of a tsp of Dawn dish soap in it, shook it up and then I was off to the races. I had help and I sprayed as my sister was pulling the backing off. Soaked the dickens out of it. But here's the pro tip - when you are done take your blow dryer at low heat and just use it to get the water out from under the edges and to "chase" any small water bubbles out from under the film. Its gets those peskly little bubbles out really nicely after you squeegee. Once I did that it worked like a charm. Might not be necessary for bigger windows but for these little ones, it was really helpful. Don't use it at high heat, just low enough to blow the edge water out.

Let's in light, gives total privacy
I love this. I had a clear windows on my front door. Most of the door is window. Beautiful but no privacy. This allows in just as much light as before with total privacy. It was easy to install but here are my suggestions having done this a few different times. 1 Clean window. 2 don't use water soak the glass with windex to apply, use a bigger squeegee. I used the one from my shower.

Easy to install...do it!
Works great and very forgiving. You need to re-wet the window if you pull it off (to remove anything like a piece of hair or dirt) or to readjust it. Don't use the kit it's too cheap. It doesn't cut edge well and has a tiny, hard plastic squeezee. You need a larger spray bottle, a professional exacto cutter and larger squeeze like the one you use on your shower door with a rubber edge. It is privacy film, but when you unroll it looks like you can see through it. Don't panic...when installed it is the frosted white. If you put your hand or anything touching the inside of the window you can see that from the outside otherwise can see in with light on or off. I used this on a large 45" X 46" tub window across from a small toilet room.

Great value for great product
I live in an apartment complex facing the parking lot, so privacy is impossible whenever I want to open the blinds up just to let in some sunlight. Additionally, I didn’t want to go through the hassle of setting up curtains, and it’s expensive to do so. I searched around Amazon for some options and came across this item, and wanted to give it a try based on the many good reviews. They work perfectly at blocking basically 90-95% of visibility both inside and outside while still allowing a good amount of light in. I do feel as if my place has gotten a tad cooler when I come home from work ever since I stuck these films on the windows (that’s without any A/C on). Something so basic as a blurry window screen can really elevate a living space. The fact they provided tools with the film was the sealing deal for me. They’re not the best quality tools but they get the job done. Great value for great quality, couldn’t be happier with my purchase, and I plan to buy more in the future! **Note: the spray bottle they provide you is the size of my thumb, it’s incredibly small. I advise you to get your own spray bottle so you don’t have to keep on refilling it.

Simple and great
Easy to put up and stays up! I’ve had it for a couple few months and they haven’t fallen off or anything. Great for 1st floor windows so everyone doesn’t see inside :)

Frosted glass window film
This frosted film is just as described. It was easy to measure, cut and place. I covered my shower window and even at night while showering you can't see anything from the outside, any silhouette, etc. unless you place your hand directly on the window. What was surprising to me was that the heat that came in every morning through that window was reduced, almost gone (I had a blind there before). My AC doesn't reach the bathroom so it was always hot/warm in there. Now, it's almost cool like (I have great insulation lol). Great quality. Definitely a great purchase.

Easy and perfect!
Amazing! We had new windows installed and I couldn’t reuse the blinds in the bathroom. I wanted to preserve the natural light but keep my privacy. This film is fantastic! It was easy to install. The only issue was getting the backing off the second piece, but I got it eventually. All the tools were included except for a gift/credit card which is optional, but very helpful in trimming off the excess film. The film doesn’t look “privacy” enough on the roll, but you can’t see anything once it is on the window.

Great privacy without blocking natural light
I ordered this window film to enhance the privacy of my bedroom. It has a notable likeness to stained glass, featuring a lovely floral pattern, complemented by a soft, muted rainbow effect. In my experience, patterned films are often more forgiving than frosted options, which tend to reveal imperfections more easily, and that proved true here. The design concealed the seam lines between the three panels needed for my tall window remarkably well. It is worth noting, however, that rainbow films do not provide complete privacy and therefore are not the best choice for bathrooms. Nevertheless, I would rate this particular film around 9 out of 10 for privacy, which is higher than other patterned rainbow films I have used. It also allows in far more natural light than expected, with virtually no noticeable dimming in the room. The rainbow effect is a little more subdued because the frosted sections are larger, and only the translucent floral details create the prism effect. As with all rainbow films, direct sunlight is vital, and shaded windows may produce little to no rainbowing. ♦ Application Tips Having installed several window films over the years, I found this one followed the same straightforward process, albeit slightly simpler by the inclusion of a grid. The package includes a small spray bottle, a smoothing tool, and a trimming blade. However, I utilized my own smoothing tool because this one lacked a padded edge and could potentially scratch the film. For best results: ⚬ Thoroughly clean the window before installation. ⚬ Measure and cut the film with scissors, leaving about half an inch of excess on each side. ⚬ Apply a piece of tape to the film's edge to remove the backing. ⚬ Add a drop or two of dish soap to the spray bottle and shake. ⚬ Thoroughly saturate the window to ensure proper adhesion. ⚬ Use a metal ruler as a guide when trimming to achieve clean edges. ⚬ Use a vinyl smoothing tool to push excess water toward the edges, repeating several times to prevent bubbles or water lines as it dries. ⚬ When laying multiple panels on the same window, install from top to bottom since water drips downward during smoothing. ✅ Positives ✔ Came with 3 basic application tools ✔ Excellent value for the quality ✔ Easy to install with a grid on the back ✔ Provides a high level of privacy ✔ Doesn't significantly affect natural light ✔ It has a rainbow effect when hit with sunlight ✔ Can be used in rentals without damaging windows ❎ Negatives ✖ Not suitable for bathrooms ✖ Milder rainbow effect

Fantastic Floral Privacy Film
I live in a rented apartment with a ground-floor back patio door that has seen better days. It's an awkward size and I haven't been able to buy ready-made window treatments to fit. I wanted something that would allow privacy but not make me feel blocked off from the world, and that would hide the disintegrating seal in the old door. Enter this pretty privacy film! This roll is a full kit that comes with a detailed double-sided instruction sheet and a few cute little tools. Reading the instructions, it's clear that the tools are more of a bonus than actually useful, but that's okay. The little spray bottle is super cute and will work great for my watercolour paints. There's also a tiny craft knife and a small squegee that comes in two parts that you slide together. The instructions show you need full-size products and a lot more than that but they do walk you through the entire process. I have not installed it yet as it is mid-Winter and very cold here, and it does say the film will not adhere well in cold temperatures. It also suggests having a friend to help when installing larger pieces. The back of the film has a pre-printed grid, like good gift wrap, for help in cutting the lines straight and the instructions say to cut it oversized and then trim to fit. There's a lot of film in the one roll so I'm confident that if I do make a mistake the first time I install, I will have more than enough to try it again. The floral design is so pretty, it's intricate and feels vintage-inspired but still reads as modern. It reminds of of etched crystal glasses and vases. I'm hoping all those facets in the design will catch the light and make rainbows as promised. Really looking forward to installing this film!

Beautiful Rainbow Stained Glass Window Film – Adds Color & Privacy
It’s a vibrant, decorative static cling film that transforms plain windows into colourful sun catchers while providing light privacy. • Pros: • Stunning rainbow effect — creates beautiful colored light patterns indoors when the sun hits it. • Static cling makes application easy (no adhesive mess) and allows for repositioning. • Good length (157 inches) covers multiple windows or a large section. • Adds a fun, artistic touch to bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, or entryways. • Cons: • Not fully opaque — it filters light and adds privacy during the day but you can still see shapes through it at night with indoor lights on. • Can be tricky to apply perfectly without small bubbles or wrinkles on the first try. I applied it to a small kitchen window and a bathroom window. During the day it looks gorgeous with the sunlight creating rainbow patterns on the walls and floors. It definitely softens harsh direct light and gives some daytime privacy. The static cling held up well after a couple of weeks. I recommend this rainbow window film for anyone wanting an affordable, removable way to add color and style to windows. It’s especially nice for renters or seasonal decor.

Pretty and easy to install
This roll of privacy film is pretty. I like the floral pattern and that they give you plenty, so you can cover a good amount of glass. It's nice when multiple windows near each other look the same. Trying to match patterns later is a pain. It has a nice thickness and feels sturdy and like you can easily remove and reapply this a few times without tearing. That's always nice. Application is super easy - just clean the surface, wet it, and apply. The water layer floats it a tiny bit so you can wiggle things. Then you just press out bubbles and you're done. The application tool comes inside the tube it's rolled on, and the directions are rolled in too, so the package has everything you need. The only caveat is that when you're close to the window it's on or you're really backlit (nighttime when you're lit inside and it's dark outside), this stuff isn't as private as we would've liked. It works better from far away - as you can see in the pic. When we used it on a glass door to a bedroom for privacy, it only really worked some of the time. Otherwise it let a bit too much be seen. That's the only reason this lost a star. If you're using it for exterior windows in bigger rooms, it'll probably fine. But if you're in a small room, especially one that's brightly lit relative to its surroundings.....look for something with more coverage.
