We stumbled across this microscope while looking for a hard-to-buy-for family member. They are young and already have so many things, which can be very difficult. I'm in love with this, because it's unique, fun, and educational. To be honest, my kids have been using it before it gets wrapped for my nephew. It's so easy to use and is much more practical than the stationary microscopes I grew up with. As a homeschool family, this has been a great experience for my kids (before it's wrapped!). If you're looking for an educational gift that kids will be amazed by, this is absolutely it.

The kids love it! The image was surprisingly good on the color led screen and you can use the focus ring to get a clearer image of the things you want to look at. Has memory card slot to recprd and store images which can be dl to a pc or a laptop. This past the torture test for our two year old. Decent price and great image quality makes this a winner without breaking the bank on a full size microscope that don't even offer an led color screen.

The magnification and the quality of the photos/video/picture is top notch! But beware the magnification is extreme! Everything you view through this will be from a very magnified perspective even on the lowest setting, which can be less appealing for little kids.

I got this for my 8 yr old grandson. He and everyone else had a great time looking at all the things. I hope it stays top of his mind so he can continue to view the microscopic world around him!

This microscope is easy to adjust, durable and so much fun! Can’t wait to take it outside and find bugs with the kids!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Too hard to focus

Forget those old, hard to use microscopes -- THIS is what kids want! I gave this to my nephew for his birthday and he spent the entire day looking at (and taking pictures) of everything from dead bugs to an old penny. With help from his mom he has been emailing pictures of his most interesting finds! His mom loves the fact that this is USB-C rechargeable and doesn't require batteries. This was a BIG hit and to be honest I'm a little jealous of all the fun he's having. Easy for kids to operate and if they're not careful they might learn something while using it!

My toddler (and husband) finds this to be very entertaining! It works well for what it does, and it’s pretty easy to use.
