The best slider, ever!
For the past decade I’ve been using the Edelkrone Slider system along with the various motors and HeadOne for multi-Axis degrees of motion. And the company and the products are great, but a bit pricey. I’ve reached out to them on occasion for support and they have always been helpful. However, I’ll have to be perfectly honest, but sometimes I get disconnection issues between the slider system and the iOS app which can be frustrating because you sometimes have to re-pair multiple components from scratch to the app, then reprogram your movements. This is why I was drawn to the iFootage system. I have a DJI RS4 which I now use with my Nano and the fact I never have to use an app again is a god send. I absolutely love being able to program all movements directly on the slider itself, and the love the fact the programmed movements are retained in memory even after a power cycle. The integration with the RS4 is amazing. Everything is so sleek and packs down super compact after. In Push mode, the hands-on programming is very similar to Edekrone. Very intuitive. Battery life is also excellent. A single NPF-900 series easily lasts and lasts for weeks of off and on use. Granted I’m not running my slider constantly each day. The only wish I have is the ability to program a delay after the very last key frame. Because after you cycle through all key frames, after the last key frame the slider immediately moves back to position A a bit ungracefully as it’s so abrupt. I’ve already asked iFootage support for this enhancement. I hope we see it in the next FW release. I have also reached out to iFootage support on an issue I had and they were amazing to work with. They were very responsive (replied within 24hrs through Amazon chat) and helped me exactly how I hoped a company would. So far, I have nothing but praise for iFootage as a company, and their products.

Works great!
Very easy to set up and very smooth with the DJI RS4 gimbal. If using it on a tripod you will need some support on each end to keep it stable.

Great Build Quality
Really excited to start using this slider now that I got my hands on it. It feels very solid and sturdy, even more so when paired with its carrying case which really secures it in place for transport. I really like that it can be used with or without the app which is a huge plus!

Let's CREATE!!!
It is a great piece. The four stars are really a 4.5 because they missed one key thing. A place for the allen wrench to sit. The allen wrench is used a lot, so it should be a place on the slider where it can sit. I always don't like that they choose not to work with small content creators. Now on to the good part. It is a great quiet slider. The packaging is ergonomically sound. It's very easy to use manually and through the Footage moco app. The stabilization is also great. I haven't had any jittery footage yet. It's not light, but it's not heavy. You don't have to be a bodybuilder to lift it on to the tripod. The selling point for me was the DJI compatibility. That is what separated it from all of the other sliders. That function mattered the most to me to get the best creative shots. Well worth the money I paid for it.

Easy to use
Very easy to use! I’m not a very technical person and was worried I wouldn’t be able to get it running but I did and even pair it with the rs2 gimbal. I control it with the app. Great value for the money!

I love this thing. It’s easily one of the smoothest, most thoughtfully designed pieces of gear I’ve added to my setup. The build quality is excellent. Carbon fibre rails, tight tolerances, and a solid feel that gives confidence when you’re moving expensive camera gear across it. Even before powering it on, you can tell it’s built for professionals who care about precision and their equipment. The movement is incredibly smooth. I’ve been using it mostly for product videos and some B-roll shots, and the results are just beautiful, clean, fluid motion that instantly makes footage look more polished. The motor is whisper quiet, which is great if you’re recording audio. It also handles heavier setups surprisingly well, I've run a camera, light, and mic rig on it without any wobble or jitter. The touchscreen control feels responsive, and it’s nice that you can also control everything through the app if you prefer. Setting waypoints is quick, and you can easily tweak the speed or direction on the fly. I’ve also experimented with the time-lapse feature , it’s intuitive and gives some really cinematic movement with minimal setup. I haven’t paired it with a DJI gimbal yet, but I can see how the multi-axis motion would be a dream for complex shots. Even on its own though, it’s extremely capable. The battery life is strong, and the ability to power it via USB-C is a smart touch for longer sessions. Overall, the Nano 2 feels like a serious tool that delivers professional results without being intimidating to use. Whether you’re a content creator, product videographer, or just someone who wants to level up their footage, this slider really adds that cinematic edge. It’s one of those rare tools that makes you want to go out and shoot more.

This slider is among the best I've ever used in terms of build quality. It's the easiest slider ive ever used also, the fact that you can just move the camera and save as a key frame is a huge time saver! I've tested both horizontal and vertical slides with an fx3 and it works perfectly. I've also set this up with a spigot and disk as a turn table, again it worked perfectly. The best feature though is that this is one simple contained unit, no wires, controllers etc. For me this is the perfect package

I make short form content for social media. So I needed a slider that was easy to operate and could take some smooth product shots or interview B roll very quickly. And this iFootage slider does just that. Its easy to setup and even easier to use. The build quality is top notch and the app support is also great. The only complaint I have is that it takes me time to get this set up from Landscape mode to Portrait mode (yes it can do vertical climb as well). So I wish I had 2 of these. Then I could have one setup for 16:9 shots and another for 9:16. Though I had some problems setting this up initially but I contacted their support team and they were very friendly and helpful. They offered me full exchange but the troubleshooting steps that they provided was enough to fix my issue. So I eneded up keeping it. And it was the best decision. Hands down the best purchase I made in 2025.

It's important for you to know that this is the first "slider" I've ever used, I am just an amateur photographer that mostly takes pictures of his family and I'm far from an expert and honestly I haven't used it with a compatible gimbal because I haven't got one BUT you can still do a surprisingly lot of stuff with it even without what appears to be the main selling feature of the dji gimbal integration. I've taken my time over the last couple of weeks to do my best to give you as useful of an impression about it as I can from a noob and distilled what I feel about it down to a few points. The first thing is that it feels built like a tank, I really did expect it to feel fragile as there are a lot of moving parts on rails here but honestly if I were to drop it I don't think I would immediately be concerned that it would break immediately. Second, I was pretty pleased by the amount of things you can do with it even to the point of it you were limited all the way down to just using a phone for the photography it's surprisingly capable of doing cool stuff with just that. I played with doing some stop motion and time lapse style shots with it and it came out really cool and there is no chance I would be able to duplicate without it. You can put the slider on a tripod but my tripod didn't feel heavy duty enough for this, I think you really need a beefy one to be stable enough to get a good clean shot without any shaking or movement. The motor operation is very smooth (again I have no frame of reference here but I was perfectly happy with how smooth videos of pans and zooms came out) and it doesn't make a lot of noise either. The on-device user interface was not difficult for me to intuit without referring to instructions every 5 seconds and I much preferred it to having to keep going back to an app for every single operation (ALSO I would advise against choosing anything that is 100% reliable on an app to begin with as app support in the future for just about anything is not guaranteed and you don't want to end up with a brick just because an app was abandoned). There is just not enough space to mention everything that this thing does, and I encourage you to look for more in depth information elsewhere before buying it, but as a regular Joe just "playing" with the thing, I've been having a lot of fun with it and felt like even for an amateur it was pretty intuitive and easy to get good results from.
