V112 AM Portable Pocket Radio, FM Receiver (Red)

Just tried out this little radio. So far it's very loud and picks up a lot of stations. Very small and easy to set up. Sounds great. Finding out it seems to have a problem holding a full charge and charging to a full charge but will keep trying for a couple more days before I ask for a refund.

Love this lightweight am/fm pocket radio. Use it to listen to am talk radio on daily walks. Attach the included cord to belt loop so radio stays safe and secure. Auto find programming found all my am stations. Full disclosure , need to rewatch on line video to figure out how to program in my FM favorites. Included wired earphones are fine. Extra long length so easy to put radio in pant pocket with plenty of length left. Seems to hold a charge. Have only recharged once in the 2 months that I have been using. I am very happy with this purchase.

Excellent little radio. Perfect for my walks. The only thing that kept me giving it five stars is the headphones that it. comes with are not the best. If you swap out with a different set of portable headphones than this thing really sounds pretty good, and I highly recommend it

Rechargeable battery via USB cable (included). Does not have a speaker but has ear buds. Also plugs into an amplifier (mini TSR cable not included). I'm running mine into a guitar amplifier. Sounds great. Little pocket radio has lots of features. Not your grand dad's transistor radio--much better. I have a low power FM transmitter on my farm and broadcast the music I like. Old fashioned analog tuned radios don't work well with low power FM transmitters (the frequency stabilization circuitry has a hard time locking up to such a weak signal. But not this radio--it's got a digital tuner. Clear, clean audio. Perfect for walking or working out.

Decent reception, reasonable battery life of about 7-8 hours, simple to program and operate. Audio quality is good. I'm very pleased. I use it for sleep and for exercise time. I did accidentally rub off some of the labeling on the radio. This is NOT the fault of Retekess. I used rubbing alcohol to clean it after I dropped it on a bathroom floor.

There are a bunch of Pros to this radio. The lightweight, small size is fantastic. Nice, big, easy to read display. Easy to use buttons with digital preset. I've paid much more for a Sangean pocket radio that didn't have all these features. And the fact it's rechargeable and doesn't need batteries is a big plus. However, the batter life of the Retekiss is much shorter than swappable rechargeable batteries. Maybe six hours tops before needing to be recharged. Although it does recharge quickly. A reasonable tradeoff if you listen in relatively short spurts. There is a notable Con, and that's the reception. Stations that used to come in crystal clear on the same Sangean (which was not durable) have been staticky when I'm on the move. Sitting in one spot it's fine, but when moving it doesn't keep the station cleanly locked in. If I was listening to music it would be totally intolerable. However, on talk oriented stations it's just a little annoying to hear sporadic static chirps. I noticed a bunch of different brands that all look identical to this one. And one of the brands mentions it is an upgraded version with better reception. That's exactly what this radio needs. If I"m shopping for one like it again, I'll be looking for that fix.

It worked great the first day and I still had 2 bars of battery. The next day it said I had 1 bar of battery and shut off after a few minutes of use. So I charged it for several hours and on the next day I used it for a few minutes before it shut off completely and I couldn't turn it back on until I plugged it in to charge it and it still said I had a full charge!! Its junk and im so mad that I just missed the return window by a few days!!

Great little mini radio for walks, etc. Keeps a charge for about 3-4 hours and gets great reception with no static.

Purchased this radio for use at motorsport events to listen to the local track radio. It works very well; easy to auto-tune, fits in your pocket easily and the battery easily lasts all day. The cheap supplied headphones got decent reception and provided reasonable sound quality (even over the sound of race cars) but you can use any 3.5mm headphones if you wish. It charges via USB-C so likely you can use your existing phone charger to charge it. Note it does auto-turn off after some time (I assume 90 minutes or so) but a single button turns it back on, returning to the previous saved/tuned station. Also note it seems to scan beyond the normal 88-108MHz range, so you might need to sift through a few dummy tuned stations of noise in the 60-70MHz range to get to the actual stations later, but it's no big deal. Overall recommended.
