Peak design and functionality - Amazing controller
If you are a fan of Xbox controllers, the GameSir Cyclone 2 is perfection.I bought this to use with the Wingman FGC2 for the PS5 because the DualSense controller is the absolute worst peripheral ever created in human history. At any rate, it works great with the FGC2 adapter, no lag at all wireless, and is buttery smooth. Please search the subreddit r/Controller for a step by step guide I wrote on how to get this controller working with the FGC2 adapter. It’s tricky unless you do a couple of very specific things.I love how the controller buttons all feel like mouse clicks, because they use very similar switches for all buttons. Having the ability to switch the triggers from analog to digital input was awesome, although I wish it had a bit more travel before it clicked, sorta like the Nintendo Switch Pro controller, but it’s still awesome for games where you need lightning fast reaction time on triggers. The battery life is awesome, and the people who are complaining about bad battery life are probably using it with brightness maxed out on RGB lightning and have vibration maxed out as well. I have ran to failure 3 times since I got it, with both vibrate and LEDs off, and get about 11 hours give or take 35 minutes. The base being a pass-through for the wireless dongle is nice if you use it for PC, it will be an all-in-one dock and take up only 1 USB port. This controller is perfect in every way, I don’t think there is anything else you could possibly want/need. Go ahead and order you one, you will be so very pleased with your purchase. Oh, and I didn’t get paid or anything for this review, I am just really frustrated with crappy controllers from Microsoft and Sony, and am so glad that GameSir is stepping up with outstanding quality and products. Last thing I will say is that the joysticks are so much softer and easier to make precise adjustments, especially compared to the 8bitDo controllers which have an insanely stiff joystick, in my opinion. Thanks for reading, hope this helps someone!

Can’t get much better at this price!
Really like this controller! It’s a nice light weight, really comfortable to hold. Back buttons feel really good, was a little bummed there are only 2 but that’s really all I ever use anyway even when I have 4. The rgb is great, would love a few more preset profiles for the lights but they are really bright and fun, my toddler loves watching them. Buttons feel great, they’re a little squishier than the mechanical ones I’ve used on other controllers recently but they feel good in comparison to stock Xbox controllers. Absolutely love that it has a 3.5mm headphone jack, it’s nice to be able to throw in some nice wired earbuds and just enjoy the sound. The sticks feel pretty good, nice grippy texture around the outside and smooth concave center. Would absolutely pay another $5-10 to have swappable sticks though. Supposedly kontrol freeks will fit but I haven’t ordered any yet. Supposedly the ps4/ps5 kontrol freeks fit nicely but I haven’t tested that personally yet, but will be soon. Response time is solid, but I’ve not gotten much time in game with it at the time of writing this. Love the GameSir software, it’s really easy to use, you can even make changes with the controller in the app! App is pc only, so be aware of that if you’re buying it for switch or mobile use. Overall a solid controller, not sure you can get a better deal at the $55 price point. Highly recommend.

Did not meet expectations
First off, I’ve been playing call of duty for a long time and I’ve owned, scufs, the elite controller, power A, modded my own controller and the dual sense edge so I have experience with quality controllers. I played a total of about 2 hours with the cyclone 2 and right out of the box it felt small and not of premium quality. But I wanted to give it a chance. Supposedly it had tmr sticks but as soon as I went to play my left stick immediately had stick drift, I even looked passed that for the fact I could mess with the deadzones which is what I did. Then as I went to assign buttons I turned on a turbo feature I didn’t realize it had which in my experience with competative controllers why would that be a feature? Useless in my opinion and pointless to invest into putting it into the controller. I got this controller to use on pc I couldn’t imagine the headache to assign the buttons without the app on the pc cuz I tried to assign the back buttons with just the controller and it was a cluster of a mess. Buttons were assigning where I did not want them to assign and man oh man did that make me angry. Build quality legit seems like a cheap switch controller. Pros: the hair triggers were like mouse clicks and responsive, the back buttons were in a awesome location, the stand it came with was nice but could be eliminated to put more into the controller 🤔 Cons: stick drift straight out of the box, I could of had a defective model🤷♂️. Way to light and maybe that is why it felt cheaply made. Turbo mode, to me it just seems like a wasted feature. Assigning buttons were a hassle. To sum it up, if you are playing wukong or Harry Potter then this controller might be something you like. But if you are playing anything competitive like cod, apex, Fortnite I would go for something more reputable.
