I am writing this review to hopefully save some people from having to go through the experience I have had with my set of STIX golf clubs. One month after purchase, the head of the driver flew off down the fairway. STIX replaced it under warranty (which is only one year long by the way), but it had me worried about the quality of the clubs I had just purchased from them. I was right to worry, the pitching wedge was next, the head snapped clean off. STIX would not replace it indicating it was passed warranty, they offered me a new club at half price. A couple months later the 5-iron head broke off. Then within weeks the 4 hybrid snapped in the middle of the shaft. Most recently (last week) the sand wedge head broke off, that’s 5 clubs in total (so far). Again they will not replace the sand wedge unless I pay half price for a new one, which I think is ludicrous. Clearly these clubs have been defective since day one, which was proven within the warranty period. I want to be clear that the clubs have not been abused in any way and in fact they have seen fairly limited use. I decided to go on-line and look up some reviews and you can find people snapping the heads off their STIX clubs left and right out there. Amazon alone documents numerous instances. Please see attached pictures of 1) the driver, the first to break and 2) the other 4 clubs that have broken since then. My recommendation would be to do yourself a favor and spend a few more bucks and get yourself a decent set of golf clubs if you want to enjoy the game and not worry about snapping clubs and having to deal with an unreasonable manufacturer who does not stand behind their product beyond the first year. I still have my dad’s golf clubs that must be 50 years old and not one of them has ever broken. Don’t waste your money on STIX!
