I call this my anti-migraine hat. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, looks cute, blocks the sun, the strap really helps in the wind. it's not too heavy, not too tight. Really fits very well. Bought it for a vacation last summer and I'm still wearing it this year. Good value and packability. Plus, I get compliments on my fabulous floppy hat!

I had a sun hat made out of linen that I used for 2 years and it finally wore out and I decided to get something else and saw this and tried it. I received the hat and it was well packaged however, however there was a stitching flaw right in the front and center of the hat so I sent it back and received a second one that's just fine. Must be workmanship and sometimes that happens but otherwise this is a well-made hat and fits wonderfully, plus I really like the color. It covers the eyes too without coming down too far to obscure your vision. It is a bit heavier than my linen hat which makes sense, but not too heavy. I had to adjust it a bit but it stays on great and the chin strap works nice too it's soft. I recommend this hat, it's cute!

This is a great, little hat. Nice shape and good (but not complete) sun protection. Travels in a suitcase like a champ. I use it all the time. ~one thing to note, if you are going to be spending many hours in high heat, you may need something lighter made with natural fibers. For me in everyday, in and outs, this is a 5 star.

I am not a hat person. I bought this to cover my hair for a hot weather vacation location. I had no idea what size to choose. I am glad I picked the large. My head is average size but my hair is thick. I am not sure about my thoughts on the strap yet. The hat is well made and very well packaged.

Still my favorite hat for sunny days. The strap keeps it in place. It is comfortable, provides coverage and still isn’t too big.

This is a great hat and I have bought it twice already. When I received the third hat I realized they changed the lanyard to a brown color, which is a bummer for me since I never wear brown and I need everything to always match. Previously the lanyard was black, which goes with everything. Please change the color back!! I love this hat otherwise, but will return this one sadly.

I have worn this hat while walking in the sun recently and it is perfect for me in every way and the best straw hat I have owned over the years. I love that it has chin ties to prevent blowing off in our strong winds and I am able to slip it off and on to my back when I need to remove it. The hat feels very comfortable and the wide brim shields my neck at the back as well as my face. I just love this hat and it will get a lot of wear this hot summer, while remaining in place on windy days. I have searched for this type of hat for a couple of years and am so pleased I found it on Amazon. The delivery was very fast and it was packaged in an attractive box. I steamed the folded brim when I received it and it took shape right away. I store it on a hook on the back of a door by the ties.
