HomeShield already blocked 4 attacks on my Network since I bought the WiFi router. The app is easy to use and easy set-up and is Fast. It also has the upgrade built in for 6G when it comes out. It also comes with WiFi detective and I like that you can reboot the router manually or on a schedule. I set it on automatic txt to send me a reminder when there’s an update The Stability is rock Solid, Great Signal Strength, Good job TP-Link.

This seems to me to be a highly priced Wi‑Fi 7 router, but in reality, it’s really only a moderate one. Don’t get me wrong, the TP‑Link BE15000 (Archer BE700) is a superior mid‑tier router with excellent stability, strong Qualcomm silicon, and real 6 GHz performance. It’s miles better than the cheap Wi‑Fi 6/7 router I tried before this. “Budget” models were only good for a couple of devices at a time before speed tanks and connections are lost. The BE700 handles dozens of devices without flinching. Latency is low, 4K/8K streaming is smooth, and the 6 GHz band is legitimately fast. Setup through Tether app was painless, and the couple firmware updates have been stable. However, once you spend a few days with it, you start to realize this is the minimum level of hardware you need for real Wi‑Fi 7 performance. I had two growing problems to be solved by WiFi-7: the growing complexity of my home network AND the Internet. WiFi-7 only works with an upgrade to the cable modem. I was thinking of upgrading to microwave (opportune time to switch media modem) but the same trees blocking the first cell phone towers were still a problem. BE700 is enough to fix my network but zero growth headroom with slight bandwidth issues Day One. Best Wi‑Fi 7 routers are ones with real 6 GHz radios, high‑end Qualcomm/Broadcom silicon, and multi‑gig ports such as the Netgear RS700S, ASUS GT‑BE98 Pro, and Amazon Eero Max 7. Best is TP-Link BE9300 WiFi 7 Router (Archer BE550) if you just have a PC, phone, and couple smart home devices. The US ban is NOT a big deal. The FCC’s router freeze isn’t a long‑term disruption; most major vendors already had required documentation from Europe’s earlier security reviews. Roughly the first 25% of models are already approved or will clear review within 2–3 months and reaching about 85% of best‑selling routers should take well under 4–6 months. In practice, this is a short regulatory pause, not a major market shakeup. Europe had documented multiple cases of consumer routers sending traffic to servers in China. While they responded slow and quiet, US issued a fast, broad freeze on new router approvals. BE700 is on the FCC’s reviewed and approved list. Recent global increases in automated credential-stuffing and botnets searching for Wi-Fi 7 make this review an important process hiccup. Means pricing will be better for Christmas.

Bought the BE700 router recently on Amazon Prime Day of 2025. This router is AMAZING. The only let down and I didn't know this after the fact is that 2.4 and 5 Ghz are using 2x2 or 2T and 2R antennae each. 6 Ghz band is using 4x4 or 4T4R antennae. If your devices or heavy data using network is primarily using 5Ghz, pick another router. I got lucky all of my heavy data use devices for SMB, streaming purposes can and are using Wifi 7, while only one streaming device (our Nvidia Shield Pro) uses Wifi 5. Can't complain because it's actually possible now for me to seamlessly stream 4k anime and movies through wifi from my SMB server. Setup was super easy with the router itself. The client devices, definitely not and I had to test, reconfigure, install new drivers, update Windows 11 to 24H2 preview. S24 Ultra setup for Wifi 7 was just as easy and it took the 320 Mhz, and MLO networks like a champ, but I'd say the 6Ghz on 320 Mhz bandwidth was definitely faster. I've also turned on OFDMA and MU-MIMO and I can definitely tell from my gaming that my latency is so much improved with those on. After all of the client devices setup, my gaming PC is connected at rock steady 4k up/ 4k down Mbps. That's 4x as fast as a usual Cat 6 cable network! My server is connected at 3.8k~3.2k down / 3k~2.4k up. Despite setting up MLO, I've setup the router to use 320Mhz bandwidth (double the bandwidth of Wifi 6). Both features have to be setup manually which are the smoking gun features of Wifi 7. It's like my PC and server are connected directly with USB 3.0 and this is the first time I could max out my backup and SMB hard drives over air at about 200MBps! Not to mention, whenever I take some videos off my S24 Ultra and offload it to my PC, It's also almost like connecting my phone and PC over USB 3.0 speed (slightly slower). Best of all: with all of the features on, none of my devices nor my family's devices have instability nor disconnection issues. I'm actively using OpenVPN setup with the router and it's incredible that I could finally secure being able to connect to my home network after years of using a Wifi 6 Verizon router and leaving my VPN Wifi 5 router at my parents'. Not to mention, the free parental controls are the same as any normal router out there (blocking sites or by category, limiting speed, or sleep time). The paid subscription can be a plus, but those features are some weekly website reports or algorithmic driven blocking that are definitely extras and aren't really present in usual routers. All of my IoT devices are connected to the IoT network and are isolated from any of my other devices. TLDR, this router is very powerful if you primarily have 6 Ghz devices, ESPECIALLY if you have Wifi 7 devices. All the other features are amazing and are a must to use. If you want to fully utilize this router, you have to be an advanced user, or essentially, you're using Wifi 6E speeds.

Let’s talk performance. This router is fast. Standing in the next room with a Wi-Fi 7-enabled device (like the S24 Ultra), I was pulling 850 Mbps from my gigabit fiber. From the opposite end of the house, speeds were still north of 450 Mbps - all without a mesh extender. The coverage, thanks to beamforming and internal antenna tuning, is outstanding. I decided it was time to retire my three-pod Plume mesh setup, which I was becoming increasingly disenchanted with, and opted for the TP-Link BE15000 (why it is also called BE700, I don't quite understand.) In any event, the BE15000 installation went without a hitch, with the onboarding instructions both in print and in TP-Link's Tether app, easy to follow. I did have to edit the router's MAC address to match the outgoing router's, a dance I've done many times before, so that my ISP would be happy. It worked. I have the router on a top closet shelf on one end of my 2000sf house and get great coverage within the house. As with the Plume setup, and despite having one of the pods plugged in on the other end of the house, the signal in my garage and driveway was weak to non-existent. But I then added TP-Link's AX-1500 Extender, which forms a mesh network with the BE15000 using a single SSID, and now I have better coverage than ever before. The control panel of the BE15000 is easy to use and provides a lot of information I was missing before. I especially like the ability to set a schedule for the lights on both the router and extender to turn off - for the router, in a closet, it doesn't really matter, but the extender is in my bedroon and I wanted it dark at night. The Tether app works well to control both devices, even allowing me to monitor things when away from home, once I signed up for the TP-Link cloud feature. I did subscribe to the optional service for intrusion blocking, something Plume had (but required an even more expensive subscription.) One thing missing, though, is ad blocking at the router, so I installed pihole on a NAS and use that for DNS, which works well. Speed is fine - I have 1Gbps fiber Internet service and get the full bandwidth. I do like the looks of the router, rather than looking like an overturned spider it's a sleek tower, though I find the long row of LEDs to be somewhat silly.

I have had to edit this review as I think my expectation for placement of the devices left something to be desired. Three units and I placed a large stainless shield between them without thinking about it. New working theory is the devices were seeing one then the other then the other. I'm going to three stars right now as the functionality has been as advertised, which is really good, since I rearranged the metal appliances. Large conducting surfaces and RF never get along well. This is probably my bad and the troubleshooting information was sort of universal to meshes. TP link answered me in 24 hours even though it's like user error. If this stays good we may be headed to 5 stars because the support was quick and the product is more than meeting expectations when we have a functional network. Setup was easy and likely a source of frustration because I expected a switch flip to fix the problem when the real issue was outside the matrix.

BE15000 is fast! I get over 1gb a sec on my iPhone 17! On the bad side, it has trouble connecting to older equipment like my office printer.

Great range, reliable and easy to set up and run. It has worked perfectly ever since I did the initial setup and has operated glitch and trouble free ever since. This isn't my first TP-Link Router, but is by far the best Router I've ever owned.

Unfortunately none of my family's samsung devices will see this router's 6ghz wifi. S26, s25 ultra, s24, s23ultra. I spent several hours trying to give this device a chance. I tried every combination of settings in this router, channel width, PSC setting, MLO setting. Made sure the ssids are separated without any smart bs autoselect feature enabled. I've tried every single channel available in this router. Nothing. Ive also tried everything in the device side I've reset the network setting of every samsung device, aggressive scanning, disabled every power saving feature. I even tried changing the time zone thinking its some weird region locking bs. Ive tried everything short of factory resetting my devices. But if I have to factory reset my own device just to make a router work? Fthat I've tried every recommendation from every obscure reddit post I've seen regarding this issue. Given how strict samsung polices the 6ghz spectrum, im guessing there's an issue with the country code this device broadcasts and my canadian devices. This is coming from an IT Analyst who faces and fixes these kinds of issues for clients.
