haruharu wonder Black Rice Moisture Cleansing Oil, 150 mL

Love this brand! I have clog prone skin, and so I’ve been using this to double cleanse every night. It’s a great oil cleanser. It smells like regular oil, which I’m not sure if some people may personally like, but I don’t mind it at all! It’s made my nose nice and smooth, and it’s great for getting rid of any residue from my SPF. Doesn't burn my eyes, and the packaging is nice too! (although I sadly dropped mine as soon as I took it out of its Amazon packaging. Knocked the pump lid clean off, and cannot get it back on. So it’s been leaking a lot for me, but that’s my bad) EDIT: It appears many people have an issue with the pump lid easily popping off. I did personally drop mine as soon as I took it out of the Amazon package, so I`m not sure if mine is because of that, or because in general it`s a faulty pump and easily comes off, and then wont go on again. Either way, I still really like the product, the leaking sucks, but the product itself is a staple for me.

The cleansing oil is super gentle without stripping the pores and drying out the skin, your skin will feel super soft afterwards. In terms of price it is ever so slightly more expensive than other brands you could opt for such as: medicube, CeraVe & Kose Softymo which is fine because at the end of the day you're paying for a higher quality product with ingredients that feel lighter on the skin. Overall, I recommend this cleanser to your daily routine as a double cleanse since it pairs really well with the haruharu wonder black rice cleansing gel! I purchased this around christmas time so it arrived in a limited edition snowman themed bottle, such small gestures keep people happy with a present time theme :)

I love an oil based cleanser but have found many of them irritating for my rosacea. This one is a winner. It’s unfragranced, gentle and effective and quite reasonably priced. It’s a repurchase for me.

Great product, I’ve used it before bought from another source. Great for my sensitive skin - doesn’t cause breakouts and cleanses skin well. Lasts a while at using one pump for everyday makeup/ skincare. I have deducted 1 star purely because my bottle came with the pump broken meaning I could not use it. Luckily I had my old almost-used-up bottle to decant it into. I will still be repurchasing when I run out.

I love using this cleansing oil as a part of my evening skin care routine. Melts off SPF and despite being an oil isn't overly greasy at all. Skin feels great. Doesn't have any scent. The only problem is sometimes the pump can arrive damaged or faulty but I've always got spare bottles to swap the pumps around.

This has become my favourite cleanser. Goes on like an oil and removes make up well. Then emulsifies with water and washes it all away. Leaves my sensitive skin calm and comfortable. Have already purchased again.

So disappointed that this product isn't suitable for my skin as I had done a lot of research. I received the product on Friday night and used it, and woke to a breakout, I was suspicious immediately that it was the oil but used it again on Saturday night before hitting the ever knowing tiktok, only to find that oil based cleansers sadly aren't as suitable to all skin types as I had first thought. I have just come out of an azelaic acid purge (before photo on the left) and it had left me with small closed comedones and very small whiteheads. After using the oil I had actual large pimples and white heads, which isn't usual for my skin (before AA I was mainly suffering from hormonal cystic acne). Day 2 photo is on the right, you can see that I am suffering with a breakout and red inflamed acne. ==The control factors== As mentioned I had been putting from introducing AA into my routine, but skin had stabilised for a decent week or so. This was not as a result of AA My 4 step cleansing routine had been in place for a year, and I was already double cleansing so it wasn't that the product was not removed sufficiently. I also used hypochlorous acid after the double cleanse on a pad to ensure that all products are removed. The only new product introduced to my skin was the oil cleanser. ==The research== The haruharu oil is non comedogenic and has some great ingredients on paper. The rice is an antioxidant and has many nourishing properties including vitamin e. Caprylic/​Capric Triglyceride is well tolerated by most skin types and makes your skin feel smooth Jojoba Oil/Macadamia Seed Oil Esters is a skin identical ingredient that should keep your skin moistured for a happy skin barrier There's a whole host of other great ingredients in here which ticked a lot of my boxes, I figured work smarter not harder, as my curel was just a very simple formula (that was clearly working) Many acne suffering skinfluencers were raving about this, but I didn't see any that mentioned it may not be suitable for all skin types. Many claim oil cleansing is. ==Final thoughts== Totally got influenced to buy this product. Oil based cleansing is supposed to be suitable for oily skin types and acne prone skin. The Haruharu oil based cleanser in particular is non comedogenic. After doing further research there are a few other viral and highly rated Korean beauty brands that are surprisingly (to the reviewers) comedogenic. Apparently the most universal types of cleansers for a double cleanse are balm cleansers. There are surprisingly very few gel based ones on the market that I can find. Or if you have a foaming cleanser that works for you (without actives) you can just use that twice. Cleansers should not cause a breakout and there is no adjustment period or purging (unless there's an active present). So stop using immediately if you suspect a breakout from using this product. A patch test would not have helped in this situation as if tested on half my face it would have caused a breakout on half my face. If tested on my forehead, my skin there is generally a lot less sensitive, so there's no where really to patch test. Slow introduction also would not help as I used this once. It's just not suitable for everyone sadly. After checking up...it seems that there are people out there that gel cleansing doesn't work for. So if you can find somewhere that offers a money back happiness guarantee on your first try, even if more expensive go there. I want to love this with the ingredients etc but it's just sadly not for me.

Wonderful first step in facial cleansing routine

Bei extrem sensibler haut mit akne und rosazea gut geeignet. Für gewöhnlich nutze 2-3 tage die woche viel makeup was dann mit 2 reinigungen entfernt wird. Erstmal öl (dieses produkt) und dann schaum. Viele ölige reinigungen verursachen poren-verstopfungen oder haut reizungen, dieses hier ist aber wirklich sehr sanft und reinigt dennoch gründlich. Bin sehr zufrieden und vor allem mit der größe der flasche sehr glücklich

Ottimo olio struccante. Mi ha risolto il problema di prurito agli occhi. L’ho ripreso.

Miren, es la tercera vez que lo compro y la segunda y la tercera llega roto el dispensador. Gracias a que tengo el del primero, lo he ido cambiando pero neta está horribles. A pesar de se ser aceite, no deja un acabado grasoso, se quita perfecto con agua y prácticamente DERRITE el maquillaje más indeleble sin dejar residuos. Muy bueno para mi piel seca.

J'ai l'habitude de me démaquiller d'abord avec de l'huile et ensuite avec un lait. Et puis j'ai vu un documentaire sur les produits coréens qui sont parmi les meilleurs et je n'avais jamais connu une huile aussi douce qui fait un bien fou à la peau. Je sens la différence.
