Works much quicker and easier than a box grater. It’s a breeze to assemble and take apart for cleaning. I use this to grate hard cheese, I haven’t tried it for other food items.

I had a few other items from the Zulay line-up, and believe them to be superior to similar items from other sources. This grater does not disappoint. I've wanted one for a long time and have looked at numerous listings, but I've always been hesitant that I'd get something flimsy and a waste of my time and money. Then I saw this from Zulay, I made my move. It looks nicer -- I'm sort of into the visual aspect of things I choose -- and it looked more substantial. I think it probably is substantially more substantial. It has good weight without being heavy. It is easy to assemble and to break down for cleaning. It suctions onto the counter like a champ. I feel like I could grate a huge amount of cheese quickly with no problem. I can zip through a half pound of hard cheese and clean it up the grater in half the time it takes to just set up the attachments on our big stand mixer. While it is mostly plastic, I think it's going to last a long time. So, it's fast, it's convenient, it looks good, works great, is built to last, and I like it. A lot. And it looks pretty good standing beside my KitchenAid Artisan.

I love this thing! Being a senior citizen with arthritic hands regular old graters weren’t easy for me to use, but this one is really great! It’s very easy to assemble and operate and I really like all the blade options. It’s very easy to clean and a cleaning tool was included which is another plus. The blades are super easy to Change out and clean. It’s may be dishwasher safe, but I choose to hand wash it. It has a strong suction cup that is wonderful so you’re not trying to hold it and operate it at the same time. I would highly recommend this little machine to anyone looking for a good grinder/shredder!

It's cheap so I didn't expect a kid. It does well with cheese and cabbage so far. The suction isn't great. It held with cabbage, but not at all for mozzarella. Still, it works well - my 9 year old can shred cheese with it - and cleaning is very easy. I think it looks nice. Just don't count on suction. It has enough of a spout that it doesn't loose a lot on the table (except, you know, when it moves because no suction)

I love this thing! It's incredibly easy to put together, as the video showed, and really easy to clean whether by hand or in the dishwasher. Sometimes if you are using a softer cheese, like cheddar for example, you may have to do a little more to get the cheese out of the nooks and cranies - still easy though. The blades pop in and out with ease, never cut myself despite the blades being hardy. The one and ONLY complaint I have, is like...none of my bowls or plates seem to be able to contain all of the cheese or veggies that come out lol. I swear I always end up with a few stray cheese on the floor or counter 😆

Easy to use and my wife is very happy no clogging when grating cheese and vegetables the speed is so fast and is very sturdy on the counter it is very sharp for even carrots and is safe to use and a whole lot easier to clean than a processor

This is for the Zulay Kitchen 5-Blade Rotary Cheese Grater & Shredder - Grates Cheese, Cucumbers, etc. I still use it over a year after buying it. I did however need to use a strong adhesive to glue one of the shredder blades (for shredding cabbage etc.) back onto it's mount as it had broken off during normal use. I see a design flaw in that there is a gap between the top of the blade where it is mounted and the plastic part which causes food to be continuously jammed in causing pressure to build during use and then eventual breakage. As the food gets jammed in the pressure breaks those 5 plastic rivets that are holing the metal blade to the plastic. I closed this gap on both pieces with strong sturdy glue as well as around those rivet like points in the middle of the blade and and now it is still operational though the blades are slowly dulling. If I were to buy a new one, I would glue the cabbage shredder blades as I described right out of the box if the design was still the same using a food grade super glue. The other types of shredders included have worked well with no breakage. For the price I am happy with it. It is not for people who don't like to struggle with manual devices. If you don't have a solid counter type of mount you can still use it however it may shake and move about whatever you do have it on. Forget about non suction use. Love the manual non electric ability to shred my dinner. The blade breakage and design with the cabbage slicer blade was disappointing yet fixable. So 3 stars.

This is the best tool in my arsenal for pizza making. Love this grater as it is simple and easy to clean. Fits in my cupboard and I use it weekly!!
