Great gift for 7-8 yr old.
This is a gift for a great niece. She saw something similar to this at friends house and was fascinated by it. When I saw the snake dissecting kit I knew she would love it. The snake, being longer, take them longer to dissect. Having a second skeleton inside the snakes stomach is an extra bonus. I would recommend this for a boy or girl.

Great fun and comes with extra gel to recreate the mold!
Given as a birthday gift for 7 yo... She LOVED it! We read through the booklet about the animal and all of the different organs while she dissected. She's been telling everyone who will listen about all the inside parts of rattlesnakes! The "meal" inside the stomach was a fun surprise and guessing which type of prey it was! This kit took an hour to do and was fairly messy... We put a garbage bag down on the table underneath to catch the mess. The tray keeps all of the parts in place but the gel will overflow once they get started so I recommend covering the workspace underneath. Lots of fun... Wish they had more large specimens to dissect! What a fun, educational project? Highly recommend 👍
