This book lamp was so much better than I expected it to be! The exterior looks like a true book with beautiful foil detailing. It’s rechargeable and so you don’t have the “magic” of the book ruined with a cord out in view. It has different color options for the light that change based on the sequence of opening and closing the book - all colors are vibrant but not straining on the eyes to look at. The book lamp is slightly smaller than I expected it to be but still emits plenty of light. This is truly a whimsical gift for a book lover and was such high quality. I highly recommend!

It cycles through different warm and cool tones of 5 colors, allowing you to match the mood of your room or your current read. The light itself is soft, beautiful, and casts a lovely, ambient glow. I will say, it was smaller than I expected. However, this turned out to be a good thing! Its compact size makes it absolutely perfect for fitting snugly on a bookshelf between volumes or sitting neatly on a crowded bedside table without taking up too much real estate.

Beautiful lamp that I use a ton. Not a huge fan of the way you switch colors (you open and shut the book to change from warm light to red to blue etc.) but this is because I usually only want the warm light setting. The cover is beautiful. This is a lamp you can hide in a bookshelf as a book or keep it out on display.
