Great product! Highly recommended
I'm a beginner machinist and this is absolutely fun to use. I was able to do some turning right out the box. Great value for the price. It's variable speed. Great quality too. Some parts I would upgrade but you have to start somewhere.

Dead in the water
No obvious damage. BUT it would not start. Vendor did not have a replacement. Amazon refunded my purchase price. On the positive side, returned by UPS at no cost to me.

Pretty good
Many of the reviews I read prior to getting the lathe urged caution regarding expectations. Although the shipping crate had seen better days, there was no damage to the device. All the bits and baubles that were advertised were present. I am quite satisfied with this purchase.

Very heavy
This metal lathe works great. This lathe does not come with any cutting tools. I purchased some carbide cutting tools. The tail stock wobble lots when not locked down. I think I need to adjust it.

Seems to have a bad bearing
At first use the head has a clicking sound like a bad bearing. I returned it.
