I’ve been looking for something like this for ages, but at a reasonable price. I grew up using these, and the item is ideal. Large 12 cup capacity allows for our entire family to use this without having to refill it constantly. We’ve only had it for about a month so can’t tell if it has had any significant impact on our energy usage, but it’s definitely better than a kettle. It’s not too big. Fits well in our kitchen. One thing to note is when you refill and you open the lid it does. Some remaining water does spill out from the top vent, so have a tea towel there to catch the water that comes out. Other than that, the item’s pretty much perfect. Having the different temperatures are perfect for if you’re trying to make tea, coffee, hot chocolate from little kids. Well, not as pretty as the Japanese brands at only 1/3 price I’d say you can’t go wrong.

Just received today,easy to use,got the 3.5l version,it used 700w 1st day,had temp at 85 degrees,but have now put it up to 98degrees.as an added bonus I saw on one review that the use put their butter dish on top to keep butter soft,I’ve yet to try that.just set on to sleep for 10 hrs

Bought this 4 and a half years ago, its still going strong, it keeps water at the temperature you pick for as long as its on (plugged in). Its easy to open and fill. Fairly quick to heat up cold tap water. I couldnt go back to a regular kettle! As we live in a hard water area,we do have to descale it, but thats not difficult. It also keeps the butter soft all winter, by resting the metal butter dish on top. Just enough warmth escapes to keep the butter spreadable! Dont put butter on top in just its foil (like i did) cos you will have to dismantle the lid to clean butter out of it (like i did! - shant do that again) The only issue i can see is the lid opening lever - its a bit warped, but still works and the chrome plating has flaked off but i covered it in black vinyl, it looks much better now anyway. In short, if waiting for a kettle to boil annoys the snot out of you and you love hot drinks, you need this! I purchased this Neostar Electronics Hot Water Dispenser after my electronic kettle failed after only a few months, I was looking through the kettles that Amazon had to offer and I came across the 3.5 - 5 Ltr Digital Display Boilers. After reading the benefits of the various boilers on offer I finally decided to purchase the above model. I have only used the boiler for 4 days, but I can confirm that in the long run it will save money on running cost’s, but also it is an extremely flexible unit to use. Instead of filling up countless kettles throughout the day, you fill it once on a morning or the night before and switch it on first thing in the morning. On a normal day the 3.5 Ltr’s will last you the full day, this will only vary if you need additional water for cooking, but it only requires that you top it up to last the day out . When power is applied the boiler initially heats the water to 98 - 100 degrees C quite rapidly, which is surprising considering that it is only 680W compared with a kettle that is usually rated 2200 - 3000W. The main display indicating the temperature is displayed in red when the initial heating is started, once the temperature reaches the 98 -100 degrees C following a preset time the the main heater then switches off and the display changes to green and the Keep Warm LED indicates that the temperature will be maintained at the selected temperature very silently via 2W heater. The default temperature is 85 degrees C, but there are 5 temperature that can be selected, they are 40, 50, 60, 85 and 98 degrees C. We are very pleased with this boiler, it has taken the place of the kettle seamlessly and is a more modern addition to the kitchen with available hot water for beverages all day long without waiting for the kettle to boil. We highly rate this boiler and would recommend this to all looking for an alternative to the standard kettle, I cannot see anybody being disappointed with this modern alternative to the kettle.

I have always used instant hot water dispensers from a famous Japanese brand for so many years and they were excellent no problem at all. But I am really very disappointed with this product because of the strange chemical taste of the hot water and I found out that there are many reviews in that sense. Definitely i will not use it as it definitely has a health hazard and would very much like to return it but unfortunately I bought it online and got it delivered to my friend in UK then got it hand carried to me outside UK so there is no chance returning it. I am very disappointed for losing my hard earned money this way yet still hope the seller refunds me after reading my review and finds a way to ship back to him this rubbish dispenser. Any help in that sense would be highly appreciated 🙏
