This is definitely the sturdiest USB-C cable I have seen. The cable is quite thick - which should make it very durable, but DOES mean that it will not bend very tightly. Also the rubber strain reliefs that attach the connectors are heavy, but flexible. I do not expect this cable to fail the way most USB cables do for me - by breaking wires at the connector. I have to admit I am only using this as a USB-C cable, not Thunderbolt. With that said, it works very well and *FAST* as a usb3, or 3.1 data cable. I verified with a cable tester that all of the USB-C/Thunderbolt wires are in the cable. The data transfer to an external flash drive is definitely fast, although I did not measure the data rate. It also charges my Android phone in "Turbo Mode" whatever that means, so supports fast charging. I have one of those 40watt fast wall chargers that I tested with. I have not tested this as a video cable, but based on my testing as a data cable, I would expect it to do fine. Note that it is only a 1 foot cable, which will limit it in some situations. I don't consider this a negative since it is clearly advertised as 1 foot.

Nice when something just works. I have not tried 8K video as yet, but have used it via thunderbolt and usb-c.

Grâce à ce câble, j'ai pu réduire le nombre de fils connectant mon MacBookPro (et ses accessoires) à mon écran Asus XG49WCR à.... 1 seul ! En effet, l'écran possède un HUB usb et le support sur lequel il repose permet de ranger tous les fils convenablement. Ce câble USB gère l'alimentation électrique depuis l'écran (le chargeur d'origine reste dans mon sac pour déplacement), le passage de la vidéo en 4k(plus de câble HDMI), le son (plus de câble Jack), les ports USB (adieu Dongle et fils de téléphones) de l'écran. Bref, quand je dois me déplacer avec mon ordi, 1 seul câble à débrancher pour partir et la même simplicité à mon retour, c'est que du bonheur !

Habe das Kabel für einen Kartenleser verwendet. Leider funktioniert es nach bereits 2 1/2 Monaten nicht mehr. Mit einem anderen Kabel funktioniert der Kartenleser wieder.
