Easy to use and easy on joints.
Impressive pedal exerciser. Was initially put off by the faded LCD display, but customer service instructed me on how to replace the two AAA batteries and the display now works perfectly. Fifteen minutes of pedaling is easy to do and unlike fifteen minutes on the treadmill which causes sore knees, the results are completely beneficial with zero knee or hip pain. Keeping the hand with the smartwatch on your knee while pedaling results in steps being recorded, and Iโve found it easy to double or triple my daily step totals recorded before the Cubii arrived. The resistance bands actually do provide adequate resistance for effective arm exercises without being overwhelmingly resistant. The flat foot boards are much more comfortable on my feet than the smaller pedals common to other machines. Finally, itโs smooth and quiet and just heavy enough to stay in place on my rug and not creep away from my chair during usage. I find myself surprisingly happy with this gizmo.

Better Than Expected!! โโโโโ
Got this for my husband who wanted the option of exercising while watching sports on TV. (We don't have live TV in our little home gym...) We were both skeptical but the moment he set this up he absolutely loves it. Now when he's watching hockey or basketball - he's getting cardio! He loves knowing the stats on the very easy to read display, the machine is almost silent when in use, the arm exercise handles are a terrific addition and are deceptively intense, plus you can do curls, flies, rowing - you name it. The device came with a screwdriver and it was totally easy to assemble (you just need to put on the pedals) and while my hubs wasn't interested in the app it does look pretty nice. Other great features: you can track 2 different users or a "guest" and the progress is retained. There is a power cord AND a plug which is a simple yet appreciated detail. The charge lasts a long time. You can change the pedal resistance from 1 - 12 and it's very well calibrated, plus you can pedal forwards or backwards which is great. Depending where you put your foot on the pedal also changes the workout. There are free videos if you want to follow a guided workout but honestly, just using this device will give you a wonderful cardio workout that is so low impact it's almost no impact. I do recommend using this on a chair rather than a sofa so you are in good back posture and not sitting too low. Puts your knees at a better angle (but you can do from any seated position). We have ZERO REGRETS buying this Cubii eliptical full body workout machine. It has exceeded our expectations! Thank you Cubii! โโโโโ

Keep busy while sitting around!
Easy to put together by adding the foot pads and get started. I love how easy it is and how many steps I get. My friend has had hers for 10 years!

Good, but design needs improvement
I bit the bullet to spend the money on this model (Total Body+) and not having any regrets yet. I have Long Covid, so getting any kind of exercise while standing has been a challenge and while I won't get into all that, I have to say that this Cubii has made it easier for me to exercise while just sitting at my desk at work so that I don't have to do it all at once. I peddle until I get tired and stop. Then when I feel like I can do more, I do some more until I'm tired again. It's really a great solution for those who have issues with mobility. It is also quiet, except for a weird click on the right side that feels like something isn't adjusted right. I tried to tighten the peddle, but that didn't remedy it. It doesn't happen when I peddle backwards and it's not constant, but it's also not a deal breaker as it's not super loud. With this said, there are some design flaws that I would change in future models. 1. The ring that holds the chair wheel is too close. You have to push the unit back far enough under the desk to be ergonomically comfortable to work, but then it's hard to get in and out of the chair, especially if it has armrests 2. The resistance arm pulls are in a spot where you have to pull the unit out from under the desk to not drag across the edge of the desktop. Also, the price difference to have the pulls is a bit excessive. It was the reason I spent the extra money on this model, but I don't think it was necessarily worth the price difference. 3. The cloth grab handle is on the same side as the wheels. It would be easier to transport if it were on the other side so that you can use the wheels to move it instead of having to pick it up. It's not super heavy, but it is awkward. They would have to have a way for the peddles to lock in place when picking it up though because they would flip over carrying it the other way... likely why they put the handle on that side. Alternatively, they could put the wheels on the other side, but then it would be hard to move under the desk. Something to think about 4. This is an expensive piece of equipment and should have a way to lock it. I bought a bike lock and ran it through the cloth handle, but that can easily be cut. It should have something in it so that you can use a computer lock to attach it to the desk. 5. This one is the most obvious... why does it need to be recharged electronically when it could be charged by the peddling? ๐คฆโโ๏ธ They could have added both as ways to charge it so as to avoid having to crawl under the desk to plug it in, especially because it plugs into the unit at the back, not the front. Overall, I'm happy with it, but for the price, it could use a lot of design improvements.

Rubber stopper pad on underside detached after a few days' use; no display after 3 months
Got this machine on a Thursday and put in my 10,000 strides right away. Clocked 10K strides again on Friday, 5K strides on Saturday, and 12K strides on Sunday. Although the pedaling part of the machine and the stride counter continued to work great, the rubber stopper pad on the underside of the machine detached by Sunday night. I'm terribly disappointed that only a few days' use and now I have to break up my workouts every 10 minutes to move my machine back into place. When I contacted Amazon customer service about the issue, they informed me that there isn't a way to only get the rubber stopper pad replaced. So they issued a replacement request even though I said I didn't want the whole item replaced. I would have to return the whole thing to get an entirely new one. This thing is heavy. Who wants to lug it around? So the workaround I'm attempting next is to get command strips to velcro the rubber stopper pad in place. I will update if that resolves the issue. 2-week Update re: command strips - these came in the mail about 2 weeks later. i attached the command strips to the rubber stopper pad and stuck it to the underside of the Cubii. The Cubii is no longer slipping and sliding. My workouts are no longer disrupted every 10 minutes so that I can readjust the Cubii's position. 3-week Update - the command strips work in keeping the rubber stopper pad to the machine. however, it's a thicker adhesive and so now my machine is a little unbalanced by millimeters. it might not be transparent for a few pedals here and there. however, it becomes apparent in the thousands. also, the machine still moves. it just doesn't move every 10 minutes; it's more like every 20 minutes. 4-week Update - because the rubber stopper padding underneath the machine still does not keep the machine from moving, I've placed an under desk bookshelf to stop the machine from sliding away from me as I pedal. This has completely resolved the issue of the skidding/sliding machine. My workouts are no longer disrupted. 3-month Update - just after the return window closed, no matter how much I charge the machine the machine thinks it has no battery. So the machine's display stopped working and whatever settings the machine was on stayed stuck (at level 9 out of 12). See video. It's become a very expensive machine that does the same job as my regular $25 pedaling machine. So save your money and don't buy this at all. Poor customer service - I've emailed support to register the product before. No response. I've submitted support tickets for the nonexistent display and inability to charge the machine. No response. I've called their support number twice during support hours. Recording comes on to ask me to call them during hours of operation. No customer service agent or representative. So even if the product comes with a warranty, the likelihood of you getting any support is nil. 4-month update - I submitted two more support tickets for the warranty-covered product. I will update this review if I actually hear from them.

Very smooth pedaling motion
This seated Total Body Cubii pedaling machine pedals very smoothly. It is a little awkward to move but that is just the nature of these things. I wish it had a little compartment to store your USB charging cord when you are not using it. The battery power is just for lighting up the control display that shows how many strides you have done during your session and lots of other things. The display has 4 buttons below it and you can access everything from there without any confusion. When first you charge up the battery, it takes about 6 hours to charge and then the charge lasts about a month. There is no motor to move the pedals for you. If you need one that does have a motor, there are others on the market for that like the Ellipse that I see heavily advertised on TV. (I think it is strange that they never mention the price on the ads). I find the pedals on my Cubii move easily. There are 12 levels of resistance. I just got my Cubii so I am still using level one. I bought this to aid the circulation in my legs and feet and not for strengthening my legs but it can be used for that also. The Total Body also has two pull rings that you can use to give your upper body a workout. Each ring pulls out to about four feet. There is no adjustment for the pull strength needed to exercise using the rings. The set resistence of the rings will have given you a good workout after about 30 pulls each. You can use the rings while you are pedaling or do the rings separately. Register your Cubii right away before you dispose of the box. The serial number on the box was easy to find. I don't know where the serial number is on the Cubii itself. You get a two year warranty if you register your machine on their website. The Cubii Total Body was not cheap at $500 plus tax but I feel it is well worth the investment for me since I will use it. One suggestion I might give the manufacturer is to include a cloth cover for the Cubii with the Cubii since they say to keep dust off of it. Also providing somthing like a bright blue cover might also help you to avoid tripping over it when you are not using it. I fabricated a cover out of cardboard that helps me see it better when I am not using it.

My Experience with Cubii TB (Total Body)
Disclaimer. We are all different. What works for me may or may not work for you. This is my experience based on my injuries and physical condition in my late 70's.. In December I fell and fractured my pelvis in three places around the socket. According to the doctors it was a severe fracture and because of my health and age they decided not to do surgery. For 3 months I was in severe pain. Pain which I worked through with great difficulty in physical therapy. At home, I happened to have a mini pedal exerciser that my mother-in-law had used. It was a big help but my injured foot kept slipping off the peddle. I did some research and settled on the Cubii Total Body - Under Desk Elliptical Exerciser. With the mini pedal exerciser I had to assist my right leg to keep it from flopping out of alignment causing excruciating pain. With Cubii TB (Total Body) that was not a problem My foot stayed pointed straight and felt secure on the pedals. There is great traction on the pedals. The Cubii TB weighs around 25 pounds. That has helped it stay secure on my carpeted floor with out sliding around. Yes it is heavy to move around, but mine stays in one spot since I use it daily. I like that it keeps track of the number of strides and the time of use. I never have to think about the time or steps, and that makes my exercise program seemingly move along much faster. I have felt minimal stress or impact on my arthritic knee or my injured pelvis. To begin with my legs were very weak and the muscles felt soft and mushy to the touch. Now I can feel the muscles working in my legs and once again they feel firm. The big surprise to me has been the effect on my heart. I can easily get my heart rate up over 100 and sometimes up to 120 or higher. (Remember I am in my late 70's.) It may not be as good as walking on a treadmill, but it has helped me regain strength in my legs and keep the blood flowing in my body. My motivation is to one day walk, drive and be independent. The big surprise to me has been the effect on my breathing. It reminds me of walking on my treadmill with out the pain of walking. My only caution is take your time. I am now two months into my exercise program. At first I took my time and slowly built up my stamina. I started with 100 strides and now I am up to 5000 per day, in 2 sessions. Iโm not competing with anyone, just trying to recover my health.

Well Made
This machine has surpassed my expectations; the Cubii is compact, solid, gives a total body workout, offers up to 12 resistance ranges, and is ideal where space is limited.

Great but false advertising on Bluetooth
This was labeled as the Cubii Total Body V2 with Bluetooth connectivity but there is no Bluetooth connectivity. So it isnโt what I paid for. Otherwise a great machine. Very quiet , good metrics.
