Finally one that meets my needs.
This is the fourth different mouthpiece I've tried. I think this is the one I'll stick with. The original ZQuiet didn't mold so it caused tooth pain. Another was too thick so my mouth would not stay closed. SnoreRX wouldn't stay put. This one meets all the needs. It took a little while for my tongue to get used to it but that is not bad.

Waste of money.
This device is EXTREMELY uncomfortable. The mouthpiece itself is way to thin and squeezes gums to the point where even if I fall asleep with it in, I’ll wake up an hour later with drastic soreness in the gums because they’ve simpley made the hard plastic walls on the edge of the molding WAY to narrow. It feels like this was made for a child’s mouth. It doesn’t stay in place and DRASTICALLY reduced the quality of my sleep while also not really doing anything to eliminate snoring. This product was a complete waste of almost $100

Great product, but read the site so you know if it will work
Works great for my situation. I’m not sure what some folks are doing, but if the device fits in your mouth and you follow the instructions, it’s really easy to get a good fit. I didn’t experience any of the problems some reviews had. I’m adding this review after 7 months of use, and I can say it’s a good quality device that did what it said it would do for my type of snoring. You really need to read the info on their site that explains what it solves for before you buy it.

Doesn't work as advertised!
Just bought this after my original (custom made) appliance failed. This didn't work at all! To start, the hinges are positioned incorrectly for this to work properly. The hinge attachments on the upper plate are at the BACK of the plate, and the attachment for the lower plate is located at the FRONT of the plate. This leads to the top plate PULLING the appliance backward, which you avoid when snoring, instead of PUSHING the appliance forward, which is how these types of devices are supposed to be designed to do. Since the purpose of this device is to pull the lower jaw forward, this is physically impossible with the placement of the attach points. 4 sizes of bands are provided, and it comes with the shortest bands in place. Problem is if you use longer bands, and use the device as intended, the lower band is PULLING the upper band forward, off the upper teeth, making this device useless. I tried turning it upside down, which places the bands in the correct position to PUSH the lower jaw forward, with the top plate stabilized on the upper jaw, and it worked one night, but I need SHORTER bands to pull the jaw forward in that scenario, and you don't have shorter bands with what they send you. Waste of money for me...

Causes painful sores
1. Do not listen to the instructions to put the mouth piece in for shaping 15 seconds after boiling.. wait longer. It severely burnt my gums and I have been in pain since. 2. If you have a small mouth, the plastic will push into your gums and cheeks causing sores. I couldve dealt with the muscle pain/headaches during adjustment, but this type of pain is another level. 3. besides the pain, it also did not reduce my snoring, however, Ill admit I cant even use it more than a week due to all of the sores, so no telling if it would ever work for me. maybe if they made a smaller size. Anyways, I would skip this step and go right to the dentist for a better made product. I feel like I wasted so much money.

Just plain WORKS!
I had been looking at mouth pieces for a while, and my wife said "do something!". I am now on my third one of these and it flat works. I liked the design of this: its obvious how it works, it's fairly small, and it's not too expensive. It took me all of 2-3 days to get used to it, and it has almost eliminated my snoring. I've gotten to the point where I notice quickly if I forget to wear it. I did notice some tooth pain and what felt like slight movement early on. That has stopped. I also sometimes mouth-breath more which dries out my mouth quite badly, so I keep a glass of water next to the bed. Another small issue is that the molded inserts will detach from the base. A little super glue gel and that's fixed. I run spacer #2 and it works great for me. I'm 5' 11" and 190 so not obese. Highly recommend you try this if you snore.

This device works!
This is not Sally , it’s her husband reviewing this. I’ve been on a CPAP machine since 2000, suffering from sleep apnea and heavy snoring. I can’t get thru the night without that machine. Or so I thought. For about a year I’ve been aware of devices that move your lower jaw forward to open the airway down your throat, but I knew a doctor would charge tons of money to create a personal device to do that. And then there was the gamble of it not working after spending the money. Recently I started looking on Amazon for these devices to see if I might find a good one. I read review after review and finally settled on this ZQuiet Advance. There are four settings to choose from in how far forward to move your jaw and when you get it, you must heat it up and then insert it into your mouth to make a personalized impression. That part was a bit tricky, but I got it done. I chose the number 3 setting as I’m a heavy snorer. It works!! Yes, it’s a little difficult to get used to; a bit cumbersome in the mouth, but now after two weeks of use, I’m pretty used to it. And it is so wonderful to be able to get a good night’s sleep without that mask, hose, and rushing noise all night long. And my wife loves it, too. I will note that after I molded it and used it for a couple of nights I had to take an x-acto knife to some of the material that squished out, as it was pressing on some of my gums a bit. But now this thing is working great; I’m getting a good night’s sleep every night. And I’m looking forward to traveling this summer without dragging that blasted machine with me and worrying about distilled water everywhere I go! This probably isn’t for everyone; some people may not like the thing in their mouth. As for my jaw, it does take several minutes in the morning for my jaw to realign, but it’s fine. If you have TMJ, this probably isn’t for you.
