Very useful
Bought this because I had an identical one for many years and eventually the feet broke off. It had been used all the time for over a decade so it didn't owe me anything. Looked in all the shops and nobody seems to see over-bath airers nowadays so ordered online.

Very stable
Rack as described and perfectly adequate, but would have liked more space between rails for towels. Glynis

Good quality frame.
Sturdy, well constructed and it fits over the bath perfectly. It's not a particularly large airer, but is more than sufficient for various towels and light clothing items. The coating over the frame is virtually seamless so there shouldn't be too much trouble with bubbling and rusting of the underlying frame. The silicon feet fit onto the frame via a short lug that slots into the lower arm. This is secured by a chromium screw which is countersunk into the foot. It doesn't take much effort to screw this in, so anybody should be able to do it. As this is a relatively small unit, it fits into the bathroom quite unobtrusively and is very easy to move. Folded the frame is very narrow and easy to store. This is a good quality unit.

over bath airer is disappointing
I have a floor standing airer from Minky that I am very happy with, stronger wires than other brands and the legs seem stronger too. This over bath airer also has the stronger wires. The feet look like they may last longer than other brands, the screws to attach the feet go in fairly easy and expand the plastic to grip the frame - avoiding the different metals touching which is a corrosion point on other brands. Issues for me are: the feet are weird shape that do not conform with the edge of my bath and only contact at one or two points; the hinge between the two sides does not lock and the airer frequently closes & falls into the bath when adding or removing laundry items; the dimensions of each side are smaller than other brands and are not usable when rotated inline with the bath to 'dry flat'.

Exactly as required
I had one of these for over 20 years. It finally snapped and needed replacement. There are some changes and it is a little more sleek. I use it for drying my cold water swimming kit over the bath, also useful for drying hand washing over the bath.

Although its looks like a well engineered bit of kit, it is anything but.
Out of the cellophane wrap this unit appeared sturdy with its mostly metal frame. But what lets it down is the poor quality and badly engineered plastic bits that join the metal frame together and act as feet so as not to scratch your bath. Even staying well within it's quite low 10kg limit, the plastic bits just snap off under the lightest loads At nearly ยฃ20, this is Not A Cheap Item, so you would have hoped, that this would have been reflected in the quality of its construction. Sadly not. Luckily for us Amazon refunded us our money when both feet broke after a month of fairly light use.

Feet are optional
This product is a bit dearer than some of the alternatives (eg Dunelm) and probably no better, but it was readily available so we went for it. As you can see from the photo our requirement was above the sink in our utiity room so that hand-washed items could drip before being more fully dried and aired elsewhere. As such we were delighted to find that the feet are separate so - for our purposes - it's perfect as it means it rests nice and comfortably against the rim of our drainer. I'm surprised some have criticised the strength of the wires as they're no weaker than I would expect and I think you'd have to be pretty rough to bend them in normal use, but I do agree they are a bit close together - even one fewer each side would make it easier to hang socks etc. Overall we're very pleased.
