if you are a k.c. fan BUY it. those of us who like this band are few and far between, ( and maybe a little touched), and by-god we are proud of it. these live recordings are fabulous.

If you are like myself and like inventice music, King Crimson is it. And now when you are able to release a lot on CD these live recordings are fabulous and I have not gotten a basd one in the Crimson series yet.

Sound quality is ok. It could be more extensive.

Just like the other review I too have to really turn the volume up to even hear both cds because of this the sound quality is really poor you have to stretch your ears to hear Levin or Fripp and the extra nuances of two drummers is completely lost too.The concert itself is great though just wished they mastered the CD properly.Maybe the downloadable concerts on the DGM website fixes this I for one don't want to pay out again for the same concert.

Live in Japan 1995 is a great performance by Crimson only problem being the mastering. There is no volume to the 2 cd's,you have to turn the volume way up to get to a listenable level. the recording is fine, just no head room. i don't understand how this could have been released this way. But a must for true Crimhead Collector's anyway.

Yes, for sure, all I can really say is a big wow! I wanted this cd for a couple of years, and my reason to put it off is that I had all those songs so many time, that I thought it may be time to stop here, specially that with the new album of kc, scarity of miracles, sorry for my spelling, maybe KC is taking a new direction and this type of KC is over for sure.I don't read more stugff about artist, so, forgive me if maybe it is a fact for a long time that this or these formations are over. I just don't know, but what i do know is that they seem to always come up with new concerts for selle on cds from that time. so, anywayt, I gave in and got it, wow! I was not sorry for it, yes, most if not all , I knew the songs but again, they seem to play maybee in a different key on purpose to make it sound different , stuff like that, I don't read music. but this is kc at his very best for those type of songs. it is so precise, so perfect, I really have nothing bad to say about this one. Of course I am a hard core fan, but at the same time I do point out things that I feel that are not right when a situation happen. if someone by now never got a kc live album with those songs on, this is the one to get in my opinion, it is just brilliant.Ypu know I think I have about all of them but one, and I keep putting it off, it is the vroom vroom live album, sorry for my spelling, people saythat the really get blown away, but I didn't listen to it yet. I will some day, but vfor now, in the context that I did not listen to that one, this is my very favorite live kc from those years.The sound if at time not so good, on this one the sound is perfect. very electric, some what teckno, I don't belive that you will find any accoustic stuff, everything is very high teck.I hope you like it as much as I do.

Les raisons d'un tel engouement?Le rendu sonore et l'amplitude d'excellente qualité (écoute au casque audio).Certains titres revisités et sublimés de la trilogie 80's (rare prestation publique de ce niveau!, à ne pas confondre avec le "Crimson Projekct", live in Tokyo(Japan) de 2014, ce dernier à ne pas confondre non plus avec les "Projekct-Projekct" de 97/99 , quant à eux dignes d'intérêt pour leurs travaux d'improvisations, de quoi s'y perdre!, proportionnellement aux archives éditées...!!).Les autres morceaux réaménagés ou revisités par un line-up en état de grâce, sans fausse note, la rythmique haut la main!. Pas un passage à jeter, des compos variées et maîtrisées, quelques impros inspirées...Bref, trêves de palabres, en un mot comme en cent, l'essentiel est : Essentiel !!
