This limb saw is compact, robust and just right for my needs.
In the past when I had more property and larger trees this wouldn’t be the ideal too. Now that we live on a small lot with smaller trees this is their perfect solution. Long enough to have reach, compact to store easy and a solid made nice quality limb saw. Very happy with the purchase.

Easily reaches over the neighbor's fence for needed pruning
It does everything they trumpet in their description. Haven't used it on a tree yet but the neighbors F------ cactus which insist on growing like huge weeds over our fence have felt the brunt of my disgust. They tremble when they see it coming. It actually works very well at cutting cactus and I guess it will trim my apricot tree in the Fall with the same ease of use and practical construction. Highly recommended but keep it away from kids and angry neighbors. Took me a while to figure out why the description says its a compact extending tree pruner. I pondered why you want some thing that extends the tree while pruning. But that's just lousy grammar, the trimmer is dandy.

Nice compact, light-duty pole saw
I got this Fiskars pole saw to handle removal of drooping fronds from the Bismarck palm we have in the yard. As it grows, the lowest level of fronds that circle the trunk die and droop naturally and need to be trimmed. It's a gorgeous plant, and it's grown beyond our expectations. Just two years ago the gentleman who mows and edges the front yard asked me to trim fronds that kept him from walking under the plant to trim the bed. I just reached up with a reciprocating saw and lopped them. Now the lowest fronds are too far from the ground to reach even on a step stool. I have a large pole saw, but the blade is junk at this point, and I stashed it way somewhere (maybe the old shed?) because even collapsed it's extremely long. This Fiskars saw collapses smoothly to just 3 feet long and didn't cost much. Out of the box, it's sleek and lightweight, extending easily with a pair of slick push buttons. The blade is a typical pole saw blade, very sharp and lockable into one of two angles with a wingnut. It bit into the palm fronds easily, although the springiness of the stalks made cutting all the way through a bit of work, but I got it done. The slightly flattened pole is comfortable to hold, and it's light as a feather. Unfortunately, the palm is growing so quickly that apparently even at 8 feet it just barely reaches -- keep in mind you must saw at a bit of an angle. Still, it's a good tool, and best of all, it folds down into nothing in seconds and can sit on a shelf almost anywhere, unlike my "real" pole saw that must slump against a long wall anywhere you put it. I'm limiting my recommendation to four stars only because this is quite a light tool, and as such it's not suitable in my opinion for general pole saw trimming work. However, it's a pleasure to use and perfect for anyone who doesn't need much extra reach or doesn't want to find a place to store a longer, heavy duty pole saw. Four slick, lightweight stars.

Lightweight, doesn't wear out your arms, I'd buy again.
Bought this because I wanted something lighter and less bulky than a full pole saw. It fit the bill perfectly. It is easy to carry around and bungee onto front of ATV to drive out to the worksite. Much better than maneuvering a heavy and bulky full sized pole saw. Pros: light and compact. Sturdy. The locking clips never slipped once during a week of heavy duty farm work. The saw is light enough to use all day long and doesn't burn out my arm muscles. Reaches 99% of the limbs I want to cut, then I only need to drag out the long pole saw at end of the day to get the few higher limbs that I couldn't reach. Cons:. None really. I did replace the standard 12" blade that came with this saw with an extra Fiskars 15" blade made for the bigger pole saws. This was a personal preference so I could easily cut the bigger limbs with less strokes. The wingnut that keeps the blade extended did loosen up a bit every so often, but this is expected on an adjustable blade mount. Used it to clear approx 1000 ft of hardwood treeline on our farm. It's lightweight so it's easy to carry around and doesn't wear you out after a long day of work. Paid $28. I would buy it again.

Sturdy saw, folds away nicely
Great saw for the price. Easy to get from folded up to operational mode, and despite being folded and collapsed for shipping/storage, it feels sturdy when readied for action. I used it to cut some deadwood out of our trees, and did a great job (remember to wear goggles, so you don't get sawdust in your eyes). I did have to tighten the blade wingnut a few times, but it help up well considering. Plus it looks cool, like a medieval weapon, so I'll keep it around if civilization collapses.

Making gardener’s life easier
Easy to use. Pruned dried orange tree branches that are higher. Lower Rose branches with thorns can be cut using the handle far from the bushes. Not scratching my arms. After many times using it, blade is still sharp. Got what I needed for my garden and protecting myself from falling if I were to cut higher branches without this tool.

Good blade but beware the extension pole
I am a Fiskars fan, own a few of their products from scissors to hatchets and hedge shears. Blades have been exceptional and keep their edge as long as i take care of them. Fiskars pleasantly sent a replacement part when I needed it for the hedge shears. My problem with this tree pruner is not with the blade but the extension pole, and now with Fiskars' customer service. My experience - in the first shipment the lock button came cracked and the button was stuck in the pole. I finally got it to release but then neither the upper or the lower locks would lock into place making the tool useless. Rather than just return it to Amazon, I decided to call Fiskars directly as it was clearly a manufacturer's defect covered under warranty (theoretically), and I wanted Fiskars to be aware of it. Fiskars did consider it but decided it had been damaged in shipment and instructed me to return it to Amazon. I doubted that it was damaged in shipment as it was well packed and the cracked button itself was under the tough plastic manufacturer's packaging that showed no sign of being damaged. I did return it to Amazon and opted for a replacement. The replacement came with no sign of damage or defect. The locks locked into place, but upon actually using it the lock button for the lower section of the pole didn't hold. So, instead of sawing a branch, the extension pole just glided up and down and the blade stayed still. Though the pole being in a practical sense shorter, I used it for my limb trimming project. Happy with the blade but ticked off about the extension pole. I am disappointed by Fiskars on two points - the fact that they would produce such a very, very inferior extension pole; and their customer service, in my mind, not living up to their manufacturer's defect warranty. So buyer, beware.

Perfect for what I needed
Perfect for what I needed. I needed to cut dry or drying pine branches up to 2” in diameter. You need for the branch to be sturdy, so cut close to the tree trunk or a thicker branch. I don’t think it would work well for branches that are 5” or bigger, but I didn’t try,

Good quality
This product does the job.

Buena relación calidad precio.
Buen producto pero habría estado mejor si el mango hubiera tenido un recubrimiento de goma para que no se resbale el serrucho a la hora de cortar, por lo demás todo bien.

Broken clip inside package.
The product arrived in time. But on opening the package I saw that it was faulty. The extending clip which holds the rod when fully extended was broken. I did a home DIY later on and inserted a new clip myself. Not what I expected when you pay so much for this impoted thing. The same thing cost only 35 dollars in the US stores. No idea why I had to pay double.
